Expert I found you a well balanced poster who respects various opinions. You are well and truly right about the long term chart from 8 -> 49. At the moment I am merely describing a mid term mid term scenario after that bearish" double top", two weeks ago.
Not good that BMN failed to rise above 49 for a second time. Not god that BMN barely holds 39 and fails to rise above 41. Just my opinion. If it does rise (and hold up for several days), then I will gladly reset all current TA outlooks. Best of luck with your investment strategy!

Best to research technical details for yourself on any decent candlechart.

For me, right now, TA gives a decent signal with this 39 nicely regained (for the moment). BMN will soon need to climb the 41 barrier i.o. to avoid the former downtrend. Actually I'm a little surprise that BMN fails to make a decent 15% 'technical recovery leap' right this moment, to mark the end of a mid term downtrend. But before doing any news speculations, I find its best to look at the facts: The SHARE PRICE, which rarely lies to us.
If in the next few days BMN fails to rise above 41 and bounces off there (actualy at 40.80), and if the Sp fails to hold todays 39 (actually 38.75), then in my opinion the mid term downtrnd will resume.

My automated trading software has been adjusted and set the next bearish triggers at 38.75 / 37.10 / 34.70. With a long term sell-alert for only if the crucial 37.10 and 34.70 lines are breached.
No advice meant whatsoever. Best to DYOR anyways!!

Nice stabilization this morning, which for the moment just looks like a technical rebound after a weeklong retrace. Just my opinion. The US markets are set to rebound too, which could assist this stabilization. At the end of the day the share price (closing price) decides the directo and/or new uptrend for BMN.

ToeDipper, good man, I think when China awakens in the new calender year (with a possible US agreement on the 7th January) the share price could start to show a steady rise.

Please also observe the 'lows'... Suddenly these are always a little higher, and rarely below 24.00 like it used to be last week

Yup, the main markets could see a 'relieve rally sometimes in early January. Either from institutionals bringing investing fir the new calender year. Or through sudden Trumpish trade-agreement with China.

Despite the market weakness last week, and a weeklong retrace for BMN, the Sp has eventually held stable at these lows.
So lets take a look at technicals later on this evening and see if this is valid bottom building.
For my active swing strategy I usually just search for new bullish TA lines that would trigger a new trend.

Obvously those prices are nothing to refer to when counting cards (trading pattern). I would expect a rise to 8 and 10p.

You reply is well explained, and if I spend another half hour on google translate, I might get the full meaning. At the same time it is TA and pattern recognition that I do each and every day. With a broad varietey of shares.
Not in my wildest dreams I would bring 90% of my PF into one single share. Its just the principle of my daily activity. At the same time I did hold a risky 200k worth in Kaz Minerals untill recently. From 460 and 470ish, till about 560ish:)) Maybe this helps to understand, thst thise monthlong 'shoulder clapping' from yearlong holders who bought at 2p or 7p has absolutely no meaning for my work. My focus is on the current 15-30 days, and these have been very good so far; the Sp panned out exactly as expected.

This is the huge misunderstanding, amigo. I for one have not the slightest intention to see (or move) the share price lower. I'm just a mid sized PI who buys shares, and then sells a few weeks later ...at the peak. Just as last week. Those many hold through paroles read on here wont influence my trading strategy at all.
Now that some of my retracement targets have been reached, I will look for a new entry soon (if tradesignal online is right).
