All rightie!!
Noggers, that would have been some daytrade move of yours. Didnt know you were up for it (remember you saying you were retired, in your sixties).
With growing years, I for one tend to derisk. 100 minus my age, 39, is the percentage I'm allowed in stocks. From my 60% in stocks, only a small part should be in high risk AIM bets.
Of course that has nothing to do with bluechip ASC. At the dame time they indeed are very volatile, and not comparable to a large british oil producer, that always rebound to old highs. ASC is in the fashion business, and eurowide the retailers (incl. online) are doing sh7tt, since mid 2018.
Anyway, we'll get our nice discount entry at ASC. Me, I would have maybe brought 30k worth in there, not more.
Very different gamble to KAZ, where I was not chewing fingernails with a substantial stake.
If KAZ will be bought up (or liquidated), we'll get a fair chunk of the assets; hard iron clad assets, like tons of copper.
If ASC ever hits the wall, you'll get nothing but an office building (on lease) as well as managers and staff with experience.
