'Blind TA beleivers seem to think that the sp moves independantly of anything in regards to the company itself...'
Endion, good man, there is a big difference between small fundamental and large fundamental news.
The first one are facts that sound very good, and that we PIs base our investment decision on, such as 'More Vanadium will be needed', or that Vanadium is slowly rising.
And there are large fundamental news, for instance if the Vanadium price spikes 30% tomorrow. Or if company directors are approached by a takeover bid...
Small news ('normal day fundamentals') are easily anticipated with technical analysis resp trading software, and these news repeat on a daily basis.
It is only foe large fundamentsl news, which noone can forsee, that instantly overturn the entire TA calculation and outlook. But we both will agree that these sort of news happen very vety rarely during one investment year. This means that TA gives me a decent chance to participate from normal Sp swings.
You've probably read that large investment companies use regular fundamental research as well as technical. Or, an individual trader sometines buys a share purely because of a signal on his screen.
Sorry for the bad grammar!

'Technical analysis holds that prices already reflect all the underlying fundamental factors.'
'Technical analysis analyzes price, volume, psychology, money flow and other market information, whereas fundamental analysis looks at the facts of the company, market, currency or commodity. Most large brokerage, trading group, or financial institutions will typically have both a technical analysis and fundamental analysis team.'
