If that 13p is ever breached, then fast rise to 15p and the final target of 21.50p for a while. Of course, this target can vary strongly depending on company news.

- new long term uptrend IMO if the 10.88 barrier is climbed
- sure thing confirmation is the rise through the massive 11p

If its not that high ranking UBS manager in his 50s, then its David, the journalist from NewZealand in his 30s, who is actually quite wealthy. Another option is that someone named his investment vehicle "David Farrier".

Why bother?
Better look out that HE does not buy 20% of the entire company without raising the price :)) Well done indeed, to secure such a large stake (from weak holders) during this monthlong drop.

Unless you are a 100% company insider and know sure thing developments... you can only play this sort of game with an expandable amount of capital that you do not worry about or can easily regain elsewhere.

(Very few people are able to hold on to their hats with a hundred grand or even half a million Pounds in a small risky share. Only tuned-in people can do that; AIM_chaos and whoever more!)

A large number of shares has been freed now. Usually days before better than expected company results/news the share price is walked down a little.
(The same with negative results, where the Sp is walked up.)

I would imagine David Farrier has an arrangement with N4P directors as well as stakeholders and was agreed to secure that 11% of the company. Ignore the current price, because main stakeholders are not those that are selling shares. Even if the price is walked down further.
A large investor can not simply grab 11% of this company on the open market for the current price. David Farrier is one of the main players here now, and time will tell about his strategy and success.

Large reknown company broker is also meant to secure a smooth price action and avoid totally wild swings as we have seen it recently. All it takes for them is one phone call to set a long term share price and avoid that the free market has to find it.

...and 7.80-7-90p. LTHs are safe to hold as long as 7.75 - 7.35p are maintained. Like said, the Sp is unlikely to go below Nigels own buying at around 7.90p.

Bidnloid, you have several fair points. But remember that decades ago Akhter Myughal created a holding where the capital for his many different venues were concentrated. He must have opted for this concept because his family holds a mix of public listed as well as private held companies.

Basically Myughal can can operate like a large institution (with concentrated capital and voting rights from many other people), although he cannot be compare to the big players Milton or JP. Remember, this is a totally inbred share. Lets not wait for names like Barclays :))

If you and me put together 200k each, we could create an own fund and operate like ii's :))
If you become member in a shareholders-club, you can operate like an institutional investor and concentrate your voting rights etc.

IMO the recent hype has been created for two reasons:
1) Bottom building rally which usually sees a hefty TA rebound.
2) Many PIs have been waiting to get back in down at 8p, or buy in for the first time, like our DJ-Ryan.
3) If the current 8.50p holds, then the Sp is building new grip for a rise to 10ish.

In my opinion ARC Minerals has consolidated nicely since May-June-July in the 4ish range, and should hold nicely above 4.60p.
- First new rise indicated when 5.11 is climbed (confirmed above 5.40)
- In this case fast rise to 6.50 and 7.00p, where it will bounce at first
- If ARCM can establish a normal day 6ish range, it will try reach out for 8.50-10.00p, with a giant barrier at 8.50p

Off topic: Gustavio, in my humble opinion VER bottomed many month ago around 3ish, and is now making first steps to create a new uptrend, confirmed by the breakout above 4.49p. This has surely been stirred by various company news around 24th of May and 20th June.

The Sp consolidated eversince, but held up nicely above all newly gained lines.
- Right now VER is trying to establish a decent platform at 5.00 but also likely to touch 4.80 / 4.75 and 4.49p for a few days. Merely TA correction.
- New wave of buying only when 5.55 are climbed (confirmed at 5.75p)
- Long term uptrend only when 6.40 breached

Institutional ownership is 61.81%. What is also interesting is "their" actual buying spree. Especially Nigel buying for 0.21p per share. Tekll me who is David Farrier, and we'll solve the riddle.

Several ii's entering the market this year could explain why N4p skyrocketed this year from 22 to 25 and 29 within days.

More and more shares are in the hands of ii's or large private holders, which makes it difficult to buy during a spike. Stakeholders could rerate this overnight to 40 or 50p per share on positive news.

Lets look ahead to more valuable information yet to be found out: Who is David Farrier? - He was an existing sharehoder probably during the low entry Sp. - Right during the price crash we get an RNS that he bought a large number of shares and crossed 11% holding. - During the crash from 23p to 10p there were 5M sells and 4M buys. - When the price was 23 he could NOT have bought that kind of lot without spiking the Sp. - The truly and thoroughly useless and bad formulated RNS must have triggered many stoplosses during the current summer holidays. - If someone had set his stoploss at 20p during the crash, the first quote at 11p and was sold at that price. - What we do know is that Mr Farrier actually bought a substantial amount since 10th July. I leave to others to tells us more about Mr Farrier. Is it this person, involved in company financing (formerly Commerzbank and now UBS)? Does he buy for his private pocket (1.2M pounds worth!), so that the swiss company name does not appear..?
