Morning guys, it seems to be a quiet day on here so I thought it was a good opportunity to ask my question!!! it's a simple question, but not simple for me. What exactly are market makers??? people always talk about them like they can manipulate the market?. but what exactly are they and how do they work? If for example I bought 10 Rolls-Royce shares do they then decide when the 10 shares hit the market or what exactly do they do? I'm sure it will be an easy question to answer for some of you. Please explain in simple terms. Thanks in advance.
