The Cu price in the Sept 7th RNS forecasts was $6655 per ton. Todays price is $7462, + $805 (12%) higher and heading up as per the article.
The forecast says 2861 tons Cu equivalent tons to be mined in 2021, so every $100 premium on the Cu price of $6655 should lead to $2.9m additional profit next FY v the forecast. At $800 this is $20m+ increased profit to the original 2021 fcst if this rate holds.
Would welcome any comments on the numbers not aware that any of their costs would vary with Cu price
