Mobile marketing and advertising technology provider Velti plc has priced its initial public offering in the US of 12.52m ordinary shares at $12 per share. The shares will begin trading on the NASDAQ Global Select Market today (Jan 28). In London, Velti shares were up around 7.6% at 740p mid-morning. Story provided by StockMarketWire.com

QuinnDexter I take your point., and I read Russell Lynch's coverage in the Standard too. As you mention Kate Bleasdale and her CFO Diane Jarvis are sadly the first targets here to the onlooker and of course HCL Investors. I too have a vested interest in here. However I wonder if there is more here than meets the eye. We shall see in due course. The seperate issue I mention regarding TB and @ankers I'm sure, has had a dramatic impact on HCL quicker than any young company could defend itself and the recent acquisition would logicly be a move to compensate for the shrinking market here. I guess we all await clarification on today's unwelcome news.

Quinn Dexter you appear quick off the mark to smear Kate Bleasedale's name. Do you realy believe if you email any Company who's just suspended you will be enlightened. Dream on! On a wider note if you're looking to blame somebody, setting aside the Accounts situation, and none of us wish to see the last blunder repeated. Maybe blame somebody named Tony Blair who Bankrupted us by going to war without consent and secondly your banking friends who lent money to illiquid borrowers and then did a runner after selling all the debts. Who was going to suffer? Well the Health service was well up on the list, whilst cuts are in progress and the NHS is about to be dismantled into the private sector. The gap wides the Lizard gets fatter, we might get a crumb if we're lucky!

This is a solid Stock and they say one for your pension. It's not suprising there's profit taking yesterday and this morning with a "domino / lemming" effect. There are many sitting in here with huge profits so it's expected. There should be a trading update very soon. My view is this a good buying slot. This stock is capable of recovering very quickly.

Going on last year's diary there should be a Trading Update towards the end of this month. Upward momentum continues, which is positive sign in my book.
