LONDON (Thomson Financial) - The Manitowoc Company Inc. said it has agreed to buy Enodis Plc. a commercial food and beverage equipment maker, for 260 pence a share, 258 pence in cash plus a 2 pence dividend, valuing the company at 948 million pounds. The price represents a 82.3 percent premium on Enodis' closing share price on April 8, the day before the company announced it had received a 260 pence-a-share offer from Manitowoc.
