Confirmation of Virgin talks is underpinning rise all the way up.

Now talks are happening, someone will make an offer and close it out. The possibility of a rival getting FLYB, at whatever point, is now significant enough that the key big players are moving to sort this for good.

Some while back, this was mentioned as a possibility and I've been sold on it ever since.

Taking that theory with today's RNS, it make sense that FRR have caught OMF/Hope in the act and have evidence provided by YA and that we are on the front foot, with a very VERY strong case.

duster, why on earth should Zaza not have pursued YA when we know with the aid of hindsight that he was right to do so by virtue of the fact that he/FRR/we won. If Outrider's attempts to seize assets was on the back of YA's actions (or perhaps they were buying shares they should not have), then their actions too were wrong and they are the process of being dealt with. But the idea that FRR should have withheld from dealing with YA in the way they had because of the possibility of Outrider complications doesn't make sense. If we hadn't acted, we'd be in even deeper s h i t instead.

Firmly believe we are in a very strong position.

Hope has 'previous' in regards to not acting proper (the two previous times he's tried to engineer seizure of FRR assets). So there should be no question as to why he would behave in such a manner - it's money and he's done it before.

Also, FRR would not be pursuing this in such a manner unless they were very confident. While we should remain cautious, the RNS does not paint a picture of a situation where Hope and OMF are on the front foot (and would add that their fighting to get the injunction lifted is to be expected).

We are pursuing them for significant amounts. They will be fighting for their lives ($56million is not inconsiderable!). This will be settled out of court.

Not only did he stop shorting after that, he got out of the markets altogether.

I know a chap - a shorter - who lost one of his three London houses when it went wrong for him.
