RE: Selling Price10 Jan 2024 12:13
Poolielad, how is it possible to set a target a SP to sell?
As fundamentals change, so does the SP.
For example, someone sets a SP sale target of £4.50p, having bought at 70p.
On the day of the sale, Rolls-Royce announce a mega engine deal and get awarded the SMR's.
The SP rises 50%, how do you feel then?
Basically, I simply keep upto date with all available info, potential deals, free cash flow, bet profit for all the divisions, how do this affect the P/E and PEG ratios.
What's the operational flying hours, debt, restructuring et al.
What causes me concern is when a share attracts pure speculators who know zero.
Again for example, the guy who posted the other day about Rolls-Royce car sales hitting a record.
It's obvious, he knows absolutely zero about Rolls-Royce engineering, simply bought because of media exposure.
As Buffet says "sell when the bell boy ir taxi driver tips your share".
