By the way 5 mins ago my mate bought £10k Empire at 6.89p.

My 2 purchases were 10k each because i couldn't fill 20k on the HL platform.

So I sold 6179 Rolls-Royce at £4.87 and bought my 2 lots of Empire at the prices and no's stated.

I'm not disingenuous like you Dusty, I don't play games, I don't get other people to post in my behalf.

Cityconindex, there's absolutely zero chance of a dividend being paid in January, where did you read that, the Beano?.The dividend recommendation has to voted on by shareholders and approved before payment, as an experienced investor like yourself knows.

The shareholders meeting isn't until February 25, so it'll be ex dividend for 6 weeks before payment.

So I would duggest payment about April 25.

Obviously, even at today's price I'm happy.

But I looked, researched and found those 3 other investments that I believe will outperform Rolls-Royce in percentile terms ftom here.
