Morning Glide,

The merger with Cerp was part of the bod'S contingency planning in the event of a poor p1 result. Are you saying you would have preferred to risk everything on the outcome of the drill? As it stands you have a very good chance of getting a reasonable return in the medium to long term, without the merger you would more than likely have lost everything?

The merger wasn't the issue in my opinion, the issue is that they appear to have put poor funding arrangements in place to fund the work programme for p1 & 2021. This is why the drill was stopped early. We have to put our trust in the fact that they know what they are doing. We need an RNS sharpish we update us on where we stand.

I could understand why you might criticise the Cerp merger if the drill had been successful but find it baffling why you continue to do so even though it has ultimately saved us from losing our full investment?

On the Monday morning following the P1 RNS results the market opened at 0.75 so anyone who had a stop loss in would have got this price at best wouldn't they?

Been invested since the LGO days, have taken the opportunity to keep buying in when funds allow to bring my average down over the last few years but way down at present. Wished I'd listened to Bamps21 and got out pre merger. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, if only...

I'm clinging on to the hope that the exCERP assets and Suriname will come good in the medium to long term.

I always knew this BPC was a massive gamble but LK's video where he spoke passionately about the potential of the p1 drill had me hooked. Would love to know why he bailed... if he knew the results at that point, why not hang around as who better to lead the development of the SWP assets than him?

The next RNS should confirm that the BOD have a solid contingency plan in place to take the busines forward following the disapointing p1 results.

A non commercial find was always the most likely outcome (cos 25-35%) so I am fully expecting that the our BOD have ensured that company have the necessary finances in place to move on to the next chapter. I would expect that they will be concentrating on maximising production by developing s2 asap.

The good news for the O&G sector is that the increase in POO is likely to continue on an upward trend for the foreseeable future.

Thanks Zag. He used to be listed as one of the major shareholders, but he's not listed now. If he 'only' had 100m over the weekend he must have sold a lot off as held 3% of the company at one point....

BigMJ had a massive holding in BPC but had gone very quiet since Spud. Does anyone know if he still holds?

I see Malcy has put a comment on his blog to confirm BPC is still on his bucket list, he just ran out of time to talk about it.

It's well worth watching the video, Jadestone in particular looks very interesting!

Kramer; I read this as any shares held on after the 18th feb BPc doesn’t have to top them up? Anyone reading that the same.

That's my interpretation as well. In which case the drill results will not be released until after 18th of Feb....

Some great points there in this thread,

I think we need to remember is that if the results of the exploration drill provide an early indication of a multi billion barrel find this will be all over the worlds press, that's when the hoardes of PI's will start taking interest in the vast potential here and we might finally see a sharpe transformation rise in the SP, add into the mix the the big industrial countries ramping up production post Covid and a rising oil price, exciting times!

This of course does all hinge on the p1 results in the short term.

Well if anyone was expecting to learn anything from the presenters body language I think we can safely say that p1 is going to be dryer than a 100 year old nuns crotch.

Where did you find out that SP isn't presenting this evening?

If this is definitely the case it's very disappointing. I was expecting to hear anything about the status of the p1 drill results but what I did expect was an update on T&T and an explanation on why
Leo had left the company. The reason CEO's earn the big bucks is to step up and be counted at key moments. If he doesn't show I think this will speak volumes.
