More specifically, I was thinking more in terms of future retaliatory action by the US against the participating countries which might affect operations, refining, ability to sell the gold etc.....similar to the kind of actions taken against Russia.

I you guys and anyone else in this chat can share your thoughts on this and any other risks related to this, they will be most welcomed.

I am a significant long term investor in Centamin and am a bit concerned about both medium longer term potential impact on Centamin both on their application to join BRICS and the new reserve currency they have in mind.

I am always impressed by the varied and knowledgeable views shared on this forum, even when the parties do not see eye to eye and would very much welcome your views on my question to everyone.

Does anyone else share this concern and what are your thoughts that you are happy to share with us?

Very well said, as always Mr Tibbles.....completely agree ....as l do on most of your posts over the many years l have held and tracked Centamin.....hope the mine problems get resolved this year so the price gets over £2 again for all our benefit.

I have a significant holding in Centamin built up over many years. My confidence in my investment decisions are owed to everyone on this board but especially to the long standing contributors like yourself. I have no mining background but l do have a finance background and am open minded to well condtructed arguments and yours always are. I dont really comment as lm not really qualified to do so but enjoy the informed debates. So l thank you for your excellent contribution as l do of others...and Siko when he posted frequently.

I have no idea what is going on but what l read tells me our shares are worthless.....no idea if anything is being sold to new investors?.....just notices a Paragon Diamonds Limited...incorporated 10 November 2017....does anyone know if there is any link?

I rarely post on here as you and the other capable participants cover all rational questions and root out the trolls. However, I have been closely following your contributions since 2013 when l first started dabbling in Centamin and now l am a significant investor. I have always found your comments and insights, informed honest and helpful (alongside the other regular contributors) to this fantastic board. Not sure what we are going to do without your insights ....hope someone can translate the shipments for example :-) but I thank you for all your help and explanations. Excellent example of what l mean by reasoned arguments ...I have been away for sometime ...so you may have all covered this already.....what are your thoughts on these crypto currencies and to what extent are they 'alternative plays' to gold and therefore a threat to the POG?

I have been following Centamin via this board for some years now and have a significant holding, much of which was bought in the old 40p a share days ...but added to it regularly. I've not joined before as l'm cautious about these types of sites. However, I'm impressed by the informed thoughts and opinions shared by all and, especially, Siko who has dealt with personal matters yet still find time where he can to enlighten us. You guys are terrific and l would like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation to you all. Keep up the good professional work continuing at the highest standards especially against the forces seeking to work against gold and us.
