It's because it will be price sensitive and again, anyone not participating would find out. It's likely, the successful bidder will will Rns their shareholders simultaneously with EUA.

Their shareholders will know when we do on the outcome of the successful bid.

The companies involved in the bidding process won't want anyone outside of the circle piling in if the info was to be made public.

The potential bidders don't want anyone knowing which is a clause in the NDA

Considering we are due to sell the company and the sp will re-rate to that price, then yes that's probably what is going on!

It's pretty bad, from what I've worked out it's basically all the top gainers, ie all the stocks you would want to trade and I think it's because IG act slightly differently in that any gain from traders comes out of their pockets so they're trying to protect themselves against any large gains you might have from volatile stocks.

It usually happens to stocks that are likely to go in one direction, in this case, up! There will be no liquidity and if IG were to allow us to trade, we will almost certainly be making money, hence not good for them. Easier to simply prevent any new trades to limit their risk.
