Pyrite forms from hot, mineral-rich fluids that move through rock fractures and faults.

If pyrite is present, it means there was hydrothermal fluid movement, which is what also carries gold (Au), copper (Cu), and other metals.

Implication:

Pyrite confirms that the rocks have been altered by mineralising fluids — an encouraging sign in early exploration.

👉Possible Association with Gold and Copper

In gold-copper systems (especially in the Paterson Province), pyrite is spatially associated with gold and chalcopyrite (CuFeS₂).

Gold can occur:

Inside the pyrite crystal lattice (microscopic inclusions),

Along fractures or grain boundaries in pyrite,

Or alongside other sulphides like chalcopyrite and arsenopyrite

Hole 3 is basically a 1.5km step out hole

Assays early next week.

Because the new hole is - 1.6 km north of prior holes, if continuity holds, Red Setter could be more extensive than earlier footprint, which adds to upside. The company is positioning to test that - this could be huge

Ed Mead said they were still drilling - the interveiew would have probably have been recorded yesterday - and we know they will stop drilling once they exit the mineralsed rock, breccia rocks and altered rock zones.

That's possibly 500m of Au/Cu containing dirt - which is why Ed Mead said the Havieron could easily fit into their current drill area - or words to that effect.

This needs the Assay grades and an update from Hole 2 - both of which could come at any time.

Ed Mead talking about the acerage in Red Setter Setter north of the Red setter gold dome stated they "have better grades than Telfer" then stated the "Haveiron discovery "would easily fit into the area they are drilling".

It is little wonder that they are going to continue with the drilling over the wet season *apart from a small shutdown for christmas and new year).

This looks like it is shaping up to be a possible Teir-1, 10-20m Au discovery - with shallow, step and deep drilling across Red Setter - and then the added acerage they have on top of that.

Remember GGP also gave up 70% of Havieron for a JV to fund the drilling back in 2018. WSBN own 100% of Redsetter and are fully funded for an extended drilling campaign. Gold price now is multiples of what it was when Haveiron was discovered.

This could be the investment opportunity that people are talking about for years to come.

They may have decided to go deeper - ed Mead said about 1000m if needed - if still in mineralised, breccia and chem-altered rock (which I guess they must be or they would have called TD) then it will be slow and tough going.

But it's they are still seeing those formations then the size of this could be bloody huge. Even at low grades we could still be looking at 10m oz Au for starters.

We are waiting for the hole one Assays.

We have an update via RNS half way through drilling.

We had an update on the second rig mobilising.

We know that both rigs are on Double shifts.

Do investors now want to be copied into the daily drilling report or shift handover. 🫣

And if it is playing on your mind then there is something wrong, and I suggest investing in this industry is probably not for you.

CEO said (in RNS 30th Sep) that he looked forward to releasing the Assay results in "the coming weeks". Reiterated in the last RNS. We also officially know that the resukts will be released in batches as they arrive. We are in the third week since the first RNS said "in the coming weeks". So I am anticipating them dropping at any time.

002. Not 992 (fat finger typing on my phone🤣)

What we know is that hole 2 has encountered an exciting combination of Mineralsied, breccia and alteration zones.

Those are exactly what we want to see, but are extremely

challenging and time consuming to drill for the following reasons.

👉 Mineralised zones: Often quartz- or sulfide-rich → very hard and abrasive → slower penetration, more bit wear and changes.

👉 Breccia zones: Broken, mixed rock → unstable hole walls, poor core recovery → need for casing, triple-tube, or slower drilling.

👉 Altered zones: Frequent lithology changes → constant adjustment of drilling parameters and tool selection.

All will likely need a lower ROP and more bit changes and sampling to avoid Caving or Core loss - all pretty standard stuff when drilling through those complex types of mineralsied ground - but slows the process down somewhat.

Loss of drilling fluids in the Brecciated zones, and to some extent in the altered rocks, will also have to be monitored closely with the voids, veins and fractures etc. Again standard stuff but takes time, particularly if casing etc.

So any guesswork on how many metres that are doing per shift is just that - a guess.

The longer 992 takes, the better as it likely means that we are either going a lot deeper or still encountering the exciting multiple zones and the drilling has slowed done somewhat - probably both.

Cannot see how you have enough information to say they are drilling 10, 20, 30 or 40m a day.

If you cant interpret Assay results correctly and work out the geology then maybe invest in another sector

It may be fun, but you cannot compare the time that 001 took to drill or even the first part of hole with what rate we are drilling now - so stating 16m a day is completely pointless and a complete waste of time.

LTH dont give a toss if the hole is at 800 or 1000 or if its going to take another week to TD. And they dont need their hand held with weekly updates on the drill. We will get the RNS on Hole 2 when they are out of the mineralised zones and will likely call TD at the same time - so the longer they better, as we know they are on double shift so going deeper.

Likewise, the Assay results will drop a day or so after the lab release them to WSBN.

Daltry, to my knowledge - Tom never said several weeks at all.

He said "in the coming weeks" in the last RNS.

Also on the 30th Sept Tom commented: "It is highly encouraging to see these coarse gold nuggets recovered from the project by our geologists over 3 days of prospecting in the last week, and this confirms the high gold prospectivity of the historic workings visited a few weeks back. I look forward to the results from Intertek Laboratories IN THE COMING WEEKS, which we are expecting to come through in batches. We plan to report on these as they come through.

So on the 30 Sept he also stated "in the coming weeks".

So next week is certainly not at all being over optimistic to expect the first batches of results to come through and to be released.
