20% marked but MM quoting me 7.25-7.70 for 50k, 7.18 for 100k. Won't give me a buy price for 100k

It would be helpful to see the share price rise a bit more. Fingers crossed for a final push to take out the last lump of stock at around 7.5 Share price in the real world is currently 6.95-7.45, suggesting MM's are very happy to take sells but not so keen on buys.

Last weekend a relative who is 6 was taken to hospital by his parents as he kept "falling asleep". Immediate assessment at A&E, straight from minors to majors and within 2 hours taken by ambulance to another hospital half an hour away. Some debate over whether to take to Birmingham Childrens. Asthma with complications. Oxygen mask for 4 days, permanent nebuliser to start with before moving to hourly. Parents told in first few hours they cannot guarantee he will pull through. Discharged on day 5 with 4 hourly medication I make the point as whilst I don't know whether Proxima would have aided in knowing blood gas reading on a regular basis and allowed more effective use of the nebuliser, the parents would have done or paid anything to see their child survive. The market is paeds. As I've said before a number of times, when it comes to kids it's almost impossible to say no as a manager in the NHS.

Now we are back to 6.95-7.45 with only a few sales to the plus side today. Not enough I would have though to move the MM unless we see a delayed trade later.

Product support now in multiple languages. Are they selling any or is it just the marketing machine. Who knows?

So, for 50k its 6.95 to 7.4. If you increase the volume on the buy side most you can get at 7.4 is 75k. If you increase the volume on the sell side the price deteriorates but they are happily quoting 6.5 for 200k, which the largest volume they've been prepared to take on within the spread in a very long time.

The way the bid keeps ticking up in the real world even though we have a few sells would appear to confirm the suggestion that someone wants to acquire some stock and my guess is they want it before the AGM. Makes a change to see things going in the right direction.

MM's clearly don't have much stock Rugs but for the moment we've run out of buyers. No sellers though which is even better news

a bit of interpretation my part. First buy is through Peel who have been trying to get 7.39 for their stock for a while Second buy is through CFEQ who got greedy and tried to get 7.4x for their stock but Peel beat them to it so second time around were happy to settle for 7.25. Not bad work if you can buy them for 6.7 and shift them on. For a 50k trade I'm now being quoted 6.81 to sell and 7.45 to buy. However you look at it more buys then sells and the price in the real world is moving in the right direction. I suspect another 75k of buys will be enough to shift the MM's upwards. The question is... are those buys one party collecting and if so how much patience do they have?

I agree Cellis. That's the third decent sized trade now with the one from last Thursday. Looks to me like someone to trying to collect stock without disturbing the price. It will be interesting to see if there are any more and how patient they are. It would be my presumption that one more decent sized trade will clear out the MM's of the stock they have left at this price. Hopefully we will get to find out.

Well the price seems to have stabilized now with volumes going back to normal and we know that there isn't a large seller sitting in the wings. I guess the next set of news is the AGM statement.

Price hovering around 338-340 above the offer price of 333. I assume some expect a higher offer but I'm not sure Pollen are in the mood. I am a bit confused. The directors have rejected the offer at 333 because it's too cheap but don't appear to have put forward their reasons. Strange way to go about business, which tends to suggest there's more going on here than I understand.

Hi SGD27. If you take the view that the price has pulled back 5-6p since the results came out then it's fair to assume there was something in there investors didn't like. It's either a) the pension fund deficit or b) the dividend didn't go up enough because everything else was great. The situation with the pension fund deficit is driven by low annuity rates which have fallen and fallen since the crash in 2008. You can see the start of the reversal of this trend now with inflation creeping up so annuity rates will follow. For whatever reason whoever is selling hadn't really done their homework as the pension deficit had actually fallen between the interims and the finals and the agreed contribution from the company actually falls this year! I'm not bothered. I'm in this for the long term and a few years profits in the area of £6m-£10m range will soon fix a £20m pension deficit even if annuity rates don't rise. They have net cash of £9.3m at year end so the cashflow from profits only has to service corporation tax, dividends and the pension deficit - an enviable place to be when you compare with say CLLN where is is massive debt to service as well. Sometimes a company has to deliver a couple of years of decent profits before people wake up. I'm happy to hold and await the next interim statement where I look forward to a further increasing order book which in time will lead to further increased profits and thus cash and thus elimination of all concerns balance sheet related

Price seems to be winding up for another attack at resistance at 90. Lots of headroom above that with little obvious chart points to hold it back for a while

Outcome confirms company will have a stable future. There was some risk in the price that the fine was going to be so large as to destroy all company value. I'd expect a run up to 50-60p now which is were it was before all this started

Can anyone explain why the price has been rising over the last few days? It seems a few are buying but I can't see why other than the outcome of the SFO may come on the 12th Feb. And the outcome could be anything
