This is a great learning process and thanks to all in 'the know' who are keen to share knowledge. No thanks to those who are plainly in 'the know' and those who aren't but profess to be, who are clearly manipulating those of us who are still learning.
I take on board completely that we are in new territory and with it comes an element of R&D. Getting from A to B in a straight line would be great, but it's not always the case and as long as we get there in the end, it'll be good enough for me.
The one thing I take from the recent sharing of information is that there is little difference in value, in this case, between bopd and bopd equivalent, with the latter including NGL/condensate/gas fractions, with some elements only discounted by small percentages when sold into TAPS. This puts a wholly different slant on flow rates - it doesn't need to be pure oil, even if there is such a thing, at this stage in the process.
The BIGGEST comfort, to me, is that Alkaid is exploring only a very small proportion of the known assets in PANR acreages. Each horizon will, I'm sure, present its own challenges but no-one has said this business is without risk.

At the same time he's invested in a covid drug producer (NCYT) and appears almost to be revelling in the fact that more people will go through misery to bolster his investment - see his NCYT post yesterday at 18.07 and draw your own conclusions.

All too often we try to make a clever point but it gets lost in the 'cleverness' of our presentation.
Are you questioning the commerciality of the flow rates? If so, why, when flow rates have not been published? If not published, then presumably they are not known. When known, there is a duty to declare what they are. Why the need for excuses, unless you/Jay anticipate the results are poor? Price changing information must be released at the time it is known, save possibly where the information is subject to an NDA, in one form or another. Is that the basis of your final point?

In one of the many recent images I'm sure I saw a polar bear with a dipstick and measuring jug tipping black stuff into a pipe near Pump Station 2. He had a money bag like an old fashioned bus conductor but appeared to be paying out..............hope that helps........

The fickle market doesn't always get what it wants and I'm happy that we don't see a series of boom boom RNSs only to be pegged back further down the track. That is not the way this company operates.

You may be aware of well publicised share trading activity by well known short selling groups which has had a devastating affect on the company share price in the last few days. This has led to some disquiet amongst many shareholders that the share price fall is in some way justified by progress, or lack of, on the ground and concerns about the status of flow tests.

In such circumstances other companies issue a rebuttal RNS to confirm that the company is not aware of any internal factors which may have resulted in such a movement. Something along those line would be helpful in these circumstances. Alternatively, a positive progress update may suffice to calm the market.

I hope that you will find yourselves able to accede to this suggestion.

Thanks for the intel. It appears the FT are trying to link PANR's position to the West Shetland failure of Hurricane Energy - appears very obscure and in completely different environmental and economic circumstances.
Amusing references to "tinfoil hattery" and "doxing" in relation to the social media action. I had to look them both up - is that a sign of age?
