It’s the shear amount of shares that they hold that makes me think a rights issue is out the question. CS as an example has 89n shares, so at a 10:1 placing at 20p he would need £1.78m to take up his rights.

Japan’s Toyota Motor Corp. said in February that it had developed a fuel-cell system in a compact module that could be adapted easily for use in trucks, buses, trains, ships and generators. That followed a November announcement by Korean car giant Hyundai Motor Group that it would join with European chemical giant Ineos to explore opportunities in new hydrogen technologies. Other car makers are also working on incorporating fuel cells in large vehicles.

My understanding is that 28 days are required for a vote on any offers, maybe wrong.
Seems a lot of effort just to pass 1 resolution in EGM, I wouldn’t be surprised if an offer is announced at the EGM, vote to be concluded 28days later in AGM
