Norilsk Nickel (MNOD) (OTCPK:NILSY)

Norilsk is the world's largest nickel producer and the world's lowest cost producer, so scale and economics are matched with Tesla's needs. In terms of environment, Norilsk has had some recent issues (a diesel spill into the Arctic) but generally one can debate this aspect as to if Musk would see them as environmentally friendly or not. Being Russia-based may also be a concern, I am not sure. Tesla did recently sign a cobalt supply contract with Glencore (OTCPK:GLCNF) who sources mostly from the DRC so one can argue that Tesla is not too fussy. Norilsk already supplies 2 key cathode producers BASF and Umicore (OTCPK:UMICF). LG Chem uses Umicore cathodes and LG Chem will be supplying some batteries for Tesla.

Norilsk's revenue comes mostly from palladium, copper, and nickel; also with some rhodium and gold. 2019 nickel production was 229,000 tonnes. Norilsk Nickel produces about 50% of palladium, 20% of nickel, 20% of platinum, over 10% of cobalt, 3% of copper in the world.

I question if Tesla prefers not to use the Russian supplier Norilsk, but if Tesla wants large scale and economical nickel it may have to.

Every day is a day closer. The problem with the RNS last week is it said things had been delayed, green light for those that wish to rainbow chase and try to return later.
Problem is time i believe is not on the chasers side and soon they will need to decide if they are returning for the conclusion or not as will the shorters to close or not.
I believe all we need is a small uptick before these chasers become worried they will miss the boat again.

Not sure what all the talk of jv is as eua were put up for sale, we are going through an fsp, that’s formal sale process.
There have been non-binding offers for whole company and other structures, imo structures mean offers for individual parts.
Nothing points to jv in anyway, why go through the fsp to do a jv

I think there has been vast accumulation over the weeks, big sellers also keeping us down but last week it must have balanced out as stayed at 30p for duration.
Sellers at 30p will eventually disappear and we should move up. I hope they all did last week.

Not binding due to western holidays, travel restrictions and not being able to negotiate at the table to get best terms/value for shareholders
DFS delayed although all at the table know what is in the ground or would not put in non-binding offers.
The DFS rubber stamp will only be that for the main sale process however if we get to see it the SP should move if favourable. I can only think it is as if it wasn’t having seen the data you would walk away.
No ‘proper’ speeding ticket as yet, the BOD know the offers so when we rose to 43-45p it most of been under these offers and what the BOD believe we are worth.

People are selling but what has been sold has be bought up as we have stayed at 30p all week. I read somewhere that it is normal to sell into news on AIM in the hope to get back in lower. This does not seem to have worked as SP is stagnant at 30p.
History shows we are due a breakout in SP if you believe charts that may take us to the early to mid 50’s.
Soon all will be revealed and my guess is £1.25 solely due to the day I made it there had been 1250 posts on the BB. Date now the 28th January as a full moon and called the ‘wolf’ moon and hoochy had spoken about hunting in packs and full moons, no other reason apart from we must be close.
I believe we will sell with price per share well north of 30p.
I just hope that it will be a clean cash offer so I can walk away from AIM and invest in steady funds until I need the cash/retire. Who knows retirement could be on the 28th

There could be 2 parties with 4 offers or 5 parties with 15 different offers. No one but the bod/dla/ubs will know
