Cheer up you two miseries! You don't know the news if you don't know the latest news. DYOR, as they say.
You never know, better days may lie ahead.
CAR3Y
Read my post more carefully.
I said that I had - on Lambo's advice - emailed Lisa who is on the IMM BOD and is responsible for investor relations.
Ask her about Tim's trip to the USA.
And I suggest that Lambo follows his own advice and emails Lisa for the latest info instead of relying on Tim's interview of over a month ago.
Lambo222.
Thanks for your advice to email Lisa.
I did.
The news from her is diametrically opposite to your picture of Tim in America.
I suggest that everyone who wants to know the truth should email Lisa as I did.
Lambo222:
What makes you so sure that the CEO is visiting Avion this week? I thought that in his interview on Proactive last month all he said was that he would visit Avion "next month" ie November. So he could delay his visit until the last day/week of this month depending on when there is anything to report on the progress of the PK Study.
Nolupus
Cod-cryptic as ever.
Nolupus:
I noted your comment "so much deramping puts me in a buying mode".
I was disinclined to take you seriously until these late buys today of 250K and 150K. Congratulations on your boldness!
ILS.
"Takeover or something" - you must be joking.
The amounts of money involved are miniscule and sells still outstrip buys in the past 2 days.
Pokerchips:
Thanks, PC, for the pat on the head and the advice to wait for Big Daddy to tell us that all will be well!
Pokerchips:
Thanks for your comments this afternoon. They have clarified some of the financial and investment issues that have been troubling me.
I would feel more assured if the confident tone adopted by Tim McC in his two recent Proactive interviews were supported by concrete evidence of progress in both the PK Lupuzor study and the research programmes being conducted by IMM's subsidiary in France.
In both of these interviews (17 August and 4 October) he says confidently that the market will be updated on the progress of the PK study but neither in these interviews nor in RNS notifications has there been any detail provided on progress. Eg: has recruitment of the 24 healthy male volunteers started? How many volunteers have been recruited? Over how long a period will they receive doses of Lupuzor? How much longer will it be to achieve completion of the PK study?
How will success be measured?
Tim McC said the study would take 8 weeks but to allow 12 weeks for "wriggle room". Unfortunately, none of us know when the study officially started so none has a clue as to when it will finish.
I'm afraid it stinks but it is unfortunately so typical of what we have had to endure since the failure of the first Lupuzor Phase 3 trial in May 2018.
Pokerchips:
Thanks for your analysis of the current financial situation of IMM.
If you are correct, the cash outlay for Admin and R and D in H2 of 2021 will be £2-.0 - 2.2m while the cash in hand is £1.6m, leaving a cash shortfall of £0.4- 0.6 mill. at year end.
3 ways in which this can be covered: Cut costs; borrow; raise more equity. Or sell the company/declare bankruptcy.
A non-cash gain via eg an increase in the valuation of Incanthera shares will not suffice.
Is this correct?

Dallo.
I missed Tim's remark in his latest Proactive interview about a possible surprise from left field that would please investors when I listened first time around. But after your alert I listened once more and sure enough he slipped it in very quietly about 30 secs from the end of the interview. I wonder what he was alluding to. I'm not holding my breath having been let down so often before. Still, worth waiting a little longer to see if anything to our benefit pops up.
Pokerchips:
Thanks for the info on Sol. I note the date of the announcement - 27 Sept 2021 - so very current news. These negotiations proceed very slowly.
By the way, Tim McC said being CEO of IMM would be a full time job. Has he therefore given up his Chairmanship of Incanthera?
Nolupus, wildtiger.
Agree with your conclusions about Tim's interview. Not the usual eternally happy Tim but a more sober fellow this time. Perhaps someone at his elbow cautioning him against over promising, over optimism.
I, too, have been wondering what has happened to Sol about which Tim was so bullish in the summer. He was predicting joyous news about it by now.
4 RNS notifications in a week. A record?
I believe that this signals a determination on the part of the new Board to get things moving after years of indecision. I note the statement of Tim Franklin in the Corporate Update which focuses on the R and D operations of the labs in Bordeau of which he is now in charge. He's a man in a hurry, I think. So expect regular posts from him on the progress of the main candidates for the market.
I would also expect an early release of news about the PK study. Franklin, McCarthy and Baderoon that investors like us are worried at the lack of news. They know they have to put their money where their mouth is so they have to perform.
Pokerchips:
I also think you could be correct in your surmise.
I think that the promotion of Lisa B. to the Board might herald a more regular flow of news to investors. I expect there will be more product news to report and that the reports will be more realistic than some previous ones.
Lambo
You haven't a clue what the sp will be by Christmas or any other time. You are a scaremonger. If you have no knowledge of this share just keep your thoughts to yourself.
Gee whizz - what a bunch of imbecilic comments from Lambo and Mystic Mike, etc, esp. the former.
Why is Lambo worried about the lack of news of the PK study? Hasn't he read that it will take 8 - 12 weeks for results to come through? We are still only on week 7. And wasn't it made clear that they have to wait for min of one month to measure the trace amounts of Lupuzor in the bodies of the 24 volunteers who have been tested in the PK Trial? This is not a trial about swallowing sweets.
And what's the use of crying " I wish I had sold..." as per MM? I could also moan about past sell opportunities as in April 2018 when the price was over 150p before the crash. That's what they said after the Great Crash in 29. I've just got on and bought at the amazingly low prices of the past few months all thanks to the blindness or poverty of shareholders who are willing to sell at today's prices. Are they nuts?
If you look at the Corporate Update, they have ticked most of the boxes that I would have wanted: Reduced overheads by over half from next year; moved out the old guard and put Dr Franklin in charge of IMM France; got Prof Muller directly involved in the design in a new Phase 2/3 Trial of P140 for CIPD; got tighter commercialisation targets for the research programmes. And unless McCarthy and Franklin are deluding themselves and us, we are surely on track to getting FDA approval of the PK trial.
We should applaud the BOD for the first time in years for getting the company's priorities sorted out.
ALB1 and Reflex
When I am in a black mood over IMM's prospects and the performance of its CEO and BOD, I can't help feeling that after the gloom will come some cheer in time for Christmas. In my more optimistic spells I persuade myself to believe that there will be positive news about Lupuzor and about the drugs in the Ureka stable in the next Quarter.
So my prediction for the sp is 60p for Christmas. Enough for a fat turkey, and a Christmas pudding with lashings of brandy!
So, Cheer Up!
Kev.
I wish I could understand you.
