National Hydrogen Limited (“National H2”) has engaged Engsolve, a wholly owned division of Powerhouse Energy Group Plc (“Powerhouse”) (AIM:PHE), to undertake the FEED study for the Rockingham Project in Western Australia. This will enable National H2 to make a Final Investment Decision (“FID”) in 2025.

Following FID, National H2 plans to begin construction of the Rockingham plant, with operations expected to commence in 2026.

Key Points:

This project is designed to convert non-recyclable waste plastics into low-carbon energy, addressing the critical environmental issue of plastic waste while generating sustainable fuel, syngas, and electricity.

The Rockingham site has been provided to National H2 Limited under an agreement with Development WA.

The project will utilise Powerhouse’s proprietary Distributed Modular Generation ("DMG") technology, which processes non-recyclable plastics into valuable energy resources, capturing up to 70% of the carbon in plastics for permanent sequestration.

The facility’s initial focus will be on producing syngas to generate low-carbon electricity, with a secured offtake partner to ensure immediate integration of low-carbon energy into the grid.

Yes PHE very buzzy

Usually the jet stream marks the boundary between cold polar air to its north and warmer air to its south (northern hemisphere). The jet stream above the UK is called the Polar Jet Stream, its this Jet stream which is responsible for the UKs weather.

I was just watching loads post well done loads ...
