I was a little concerned as the last time the BoD tried to change the name they got voted down at the meeting.
Romania here we come with funds in place.
Great opportunity!
Obviously things can still go wrong, but the detail in the RNS of 10 December re. Romania makes me think they have everything under control and the mine purchase will go ahead soon. They have been working in Romania for over 2 years.
As minemeafortune says this is the first step but probably the most important as no placing = no mine acquisition
Hopefully we should hear about the purchase of the mine soon. The main reason for the meeting today is to vote in favour of the the placing to raise the funds to buy the mine. D/D and purchase should follow soon IMO
I really can't imagine anyone relying on hearsay to make an investment, how stupid- I always use a Ouija board. It spelt out A F C R - so I bought 7 million!
Personally I think that is a formality - they have been working in Romania for 2 years. I think they have been working on the Baita Bihor deal for some time also - the directors are involved in the Mineral Mining, as per RNS - An 85 per cent. equity interest in Mineral Mining is beneficially owned by AFCR's Romanian senior management and other AFCR group employees - they are buying it from themselves in effect - so I doubt there will be any D/D problems
and copper zinc silver lead in Baita Bihor mine -1,800,000 tonnes of polymetallic ore (gold, silver, copper, zinc, lead, tungsten and molybdenum) at 6% copper equivalent or 10g/tonne gold equivalent
0.7p - you never know with AIM but23 Dec 2014 19:45
trading was very strong today - I think that people want to get in before the meeting on the 30th that only gives them tomorrow morning and next Monday - so .7p could happen tomorrow easily - still well undervalued, IMHO the new mine after dilution is worth at least 1p per share without any production based conservatively on the NAV of the mine. Then add in PP and all the other many assets in Zimbabwe and Zambia, AFCR is probably worth a minimum 2p now, in today's woeful market.
