adamsrups - Well you can have a guess, and I agree no one knows. I am not as bullish as some re the level of award if OXS win, (though I do think OXS will in effect win). I was wondering what Vlad thought as I don't recall seeing a post re level of compensation from him. I still feel RS was given some info to suggest a result of the arbitration would be soon or he and the NOMAD would not have sanctioned those words to be released in an RNS.

adamsrups - I have had to study a bit of law for my career (though I am no expert) and generally previous cases have a big influence on future judgements providing the cases are relevant - I do not know enough about the Yukos case, but if it is relevant they will take it into account.

have held OXS shares I have always respected your point of view. I have not read every post here, but do you have a view on the level of compensation OXS will receive, if in effect OXS win and get compensated for losses.

I would be happy with 50% of the award as a divi and the rest put into other gold projects - would be good for all and now is the time to buy a very cheap gold project - in 2 years we could multimulti bag - providing we win the case and get a decent award that is - I am still buying on the dips, result soon imo.

I think Mr Beeston must be a relation of the Lenigas family as far as ramping is concerned - anyway he has drawn back from the deal before Christmas remark. All things he has said do point to a deal being done soon though so who knows?. He better deliver in the near term or there will be many irate PI's, and his reputation will be down the pan. Anyway I'm confident and have added more this morning.

must have been one of your posts which directed me to the past cases and from what I read I agree with your point of view. Hence why I said I would be happy with 10p per share, (which still a multibag from here). On balance I feel OXS will win, and if there was any natural justice in the world should be awarded a $!bn - unfortunately there isn't so back to 10p and anything above is a bonus for me. I have been buying on the dips and now this is one of my largest shareholdings, so I am not at all negative about the outcome. The decision is due now

Mike I didn't say AIM had anything to do with the result, it obviously doesn't - I was referring to the expectation of investors in AIM which is usually unrealistic. I would love a 70p result

I would be ecstatic with 30p. I am referring to the s/p after the award (if OXS win), and after everything is paid off. I looked at a couple of winning cases a while ago (posted by someone on this BB), after they stated that it was common that the winning company received about 33% of their initial claim, which in these cases was what happened. Anyway I will be happy if we win and anything over 10p per share is a bonus to me. Maybe you think I have low expectations, but after years investing in AIM shares I am being realistic.

That would be great, but if you look at the average compensation in other cases it would be exceptional, but entirely possible.

RS never stated end of November, (probably comes from Lselees post of a conversation with him - apparently he stated could be a week, 2 weeks or 2 months - from memory!). I don't think he knew (or was advised) of an exact date, but he would not have issued those words in an RNS unless it was a fact. Obviously the words are open to interpretation but personally I think it is about now. I am amused how the s/p has dropped - what has changed? - except the result is closer. I feel OXS will win but I do think that most posters have an inflated view of the possible compensation. GLA

There is so little information that the BoD can give, that every word RS issues in an RNS must be taken very seriously - we know that and so does he. When he wrote "In the very near future" he must have had some sort of notification from the arbitration panel that the result was imminent. I do not believe there was some plan to get the s/p up to let RAB out or get better loan note terms. From what I have seen RS does not operate like that. So I agree with you guys it will be soon, it may go on until after Christmas, as I do not think RS has been given a specific date (certainly at the time of the 30/9/15 RNS). My bet was also sometime in November, but after holding for 3 years (and I know many have been in much longer), I am prepared to wait for as long as it takes.

has an article promoting smaller gold miners for 2015 the article reckons gold will be on the up and it will be good to invest in small gold miners - shareprophets not everyone's cup of tea but at least it's positive for gold miners in 2015 - I think that is when VAST will have 2 mines operational by the way!
