angus I believe the Russian system can be used to JORC an asset, but as most of the work was done decades ago the drill cores have been lost though the data is still available - it is relatively simple to complete a JORC in these circumstances, by doing some infill drilling to verify the original data and providing the (in effect) missing cores

We haven't got finance yet or the diamonds - so what can we talk about in your opinion? - not much ;-)

I think there is a strong possibility of getting both as I keep saying AP delivers 100% - that is why I am mentioning it, it has been RNS'd many times after all.

Fantasy it is extremely difficult to finance a company the size of VAST - The s/p is way too low and as always with AIM stocks the lows and highs are way overdone.

I think many have been way to harsh on the BoD and AP in particular. If we get funding and diamonds an MC of a 100's of mil is possible as the assets are that good.

Everyone has been hurting for the last 9 months inc. me, I just see what is possible and if it works out, I should think most that have held onto shs or averaged down over this period will be OK.

The Merc B tranche was tricky - they could have gone with another financer, but the DD on a deal like that costs the financer a lot of cash and if VAST went down that route and pulled out it would be tricky to do it again. Presumably this is one reason we are getting SRK to do an independent report, to save DD costs for potential lenders.

It's easy to criticise without knowing the full facts, but I would probably have done some things differently if I were in AP's position.

If we do get back to .6+ I doubt he will have many dissenters - let's hope he manages it.

Morning Sandy - I look at Fantasy like a spoilt youth who needs a bit of guidance - you know when Cameron said "hug a hoody" all those years ago - I am going to try educate the lad/lass.

Around 2p is entirely possible in a year or so if we get diamonds mined and BP running at full capacity - MC $200 mil+ 10bn shs in issue.

I don't think you understand how large and profitable the Marange diamond fields are, but then you would have to actually do some research to realise this and that's obviously not your thing is it?.

VAST is in the best position ever IMO with the diamonds due soon, BP mining by Xmas and finance due for both assets.

VAST has great potential and though I know it won't be easy,I have made it my ambition to get you to understand this.

I give my opinion Fantasy, you don't have to like it and whether it is balanced is purely opinion - that is for the reader to decide. I do always state facts though and base my opinions on those facts - anyway I hope all VAST investors make lots of money in the future.

I am not going to get into pointless arguments - surely we all want a good outcome to our investment don't we?

buko - I never told anyone to buy - I gave my opinion on te possibilities if certain events happened in a certain time scale - I stand by all my posts and am completely happy with them - I also stated on several occasions that VAST could also go bust!.

So do not infer otherwise!

I am still highly confident VAST will be a successful company under the leadership of Andrew Prelea.

sandcrab - if anyone put £100k in VAST in Jan 2015 how much would they have made by Sept 2015 - £368,000 I know cos I did.

I am confident VAST will beat that gain by a mile in the next year or so if we get the diamonds and mine them and get BP financed running (see buko - that's called a caveat)

IMO VAST will become a great company - I have never ramped any of my investments, I just state the potential based on the facts to hand.

If you invest in AIM you are investing mainly in potential and I am very confident in VAST's.

AP has never failed to deliver, no reason why he should not on the diamonds or anything else.

Sarah - IMO when/if we get sign off on diamonds the s/p will go above .2p - finance and it will go much higher - same with finance for BP - we need actual progress though.

SRK report if good will give confidence.

The assets are very good, some world class and the value will be reflected in the s/p at some point once we get the finance to exploit them.

We know AP has little control over any of the things you are complaining are late - he gives his best idea of when they will happen and he is wrong sometimes - we know this don't we?

It will happen when it happens but he delivers 100%.

It looks like they are dumping the indigi laws in favour of making ZCDC part of the JV - this makes sense IMO as it will allow the ZimGov direct access to the JV's and they will feel more comfortable. ZCDC also being cleaned up with a new BoD bodes well the last lot were part of the bad old corrupt ways.
Looks like we still get our 49% plus 10% management fee and anything BOD get will be taken off that - should be over 50% though and that is substantial.

Indeed tradedesk many years now ups/downs - I think the assets are amazing and if we get finance it looks very good
