I feel confident that Solus will take up the Offer. So we are sitting with an sp lower than 7p. Solus will be buying millions at over 11p. That should be announced Monday or Tuesday. The sp should then move to around the 11p mark. Money to be made very short term. The $85 million you are talking about is a completely different matter. But you could be long gone by then.

Do you really think it�s that big an IF. I�m feeling more confident. All the hundreds of million of pounds riding on another 4 million ?

If it�s announced next week that Solus have taken up the full offer, sp could be a lot closer to 11p ?

So tomorrow 2billion more shares come onto the market. Lots of room then for the SP to go either way.

Looks like we are all relying on Solus taking up the full issue. I would have thought, if this was the likely scenario,that the share price would be pushing back up to the 11p mark. Of course Caledonia could still be selling and suppressing the price. Who knows ? Still all up in the air.

Matt, that�s exactly what I have done . Bought at 5p , hoping that Solus buy their full entitlement and this then boosts the sp to somewhere around that price -11.2p - that Solus will be paying.

I think that Avanti expect Solus to take up their open offer in full. Buko pointed it out in an earlier post. If it is left to us to take up the open offer, then we have no chance. Who here is going to pay over 11p when we can get them for 5 p. ? This is from the RNS :- If the Debt for Equity Swap and the Open Offer are completed, the Solus Funds will hold in aggregate up to a maximum of 42.0 per cent. of the Enlarged Share Capital (assuming that the Solus Funds subscribe for their full Open Offer Entitlement and that no other Shareholders subscribe for Open Offer Shares)

No, Matt. It�s the MMs buying up all the shares, lowering the price to buy them cheap, so that when the big news comes out (that the MMs already know about),they can then increase the price and make a killing on all the shares that they have stockpiled. You must start listening to GCCR.

If it goes into administration the chances of you getting anything at all are about 1,000,000 to 1. I don�t even like the odds of this open issue being fully subscribed.

Are you really Matt ? What about these 38.5 million shares being offered at 11.2 p do you think the offers will be fully subscribed ? Will they raise the other $50 million ?Will they secure the $40 million revenue ?
