Perhaps a placing at 3p ???
Getting very close the 4p buying price for those wanting to top up. Selling for below the 4p for the first time. Lower lows al, the time. Could be that there is a fund raising on the horizon at 4p ?? Who knows. Trouble is, to raise, say £40 million,at this all time low price of 4p,means a Billion more shares to be issued. Dilution close to 50% .
Just thinking aloud.
SP falling again. It seems whatever price it falls to, sellers still eager to get out. I know that the volumes small but no interest from buyers no matter how low it goes. So , no ‘averaging down ‘ for me. The most optimistic of investors here must be wondering if the tide is ever going to turn for the SP.
4.3p mid price. Last sell at 4.2p . It’s definitely finding new lows on a regular basis %!
And down again. Bigger sells at 4.4p now.
Well I think that the SP is telling it’s own story. It’s going down little by little. New lows being hit.
There has been a lot of debate on here about this subject. I don’t think that this has been posted. It is a link to a white paper that Avant produced on the subject :-

I well remember the post, Romaron . With respect , it would be nice if the company advised us all of their financial position now. Perhaps they did have to make the statement . It would be nice if they now said all financial obligations are being met and it’s onwards and upwards. The company has never stated that we have gone ‘beyond it’ as you put it.
I’m not ‘scare mongerin’ at all Buko. The company stated their position, that if they didn’t meet certain requirements
they wouldn’t be able to pay their creditors. They could now issue an RNS stating that they can pay their creditors and I’m sure the market would react positively.
Cassius
From the proposed restructuring RNS. I presume the 3 moths mentioned expires on Sunday.
Furthermore, if the Restructuring completes but the Company is unable to raise Additional Funds of at least US$50 million and secure US$40 million infrequently recurring revenue in pipeline by 30 June 2018 then based on the projected cash flows of the Group, the Company will, within the 3 months following 30 June 2018, be highly likely to be unable to pay its creditors, as and when they fall due for payment.
In the event that the Company is unable to meet such obligations as a result of the failure of the Restructuring to complete or the failure to raise sufficient Additional Funds, the Directors would likely seek to place the Company into some form of insolvency proceeding, or a creditor may take action to enforce or initiate an insolvency proceeding. Any such proceeding would be likely to result in little or no value for Shareholders.

INTERSAT LAUNCHES NEW UNLIMITED KA-BAND BROADBAND SERVICE
Today, Intersat launched a new UNLIMITED Ka-Band Broadband Service on the Avanti HYLAS 2 Satellite to complement their existing VSAT solutions.
The service will offer reliable high throughput broadband to help grow small, medium and large enterprises throughout Kenya, Tanzania and Burundi. With speeds up to 20 Mbps, and 100% coverage, no business needs to be disadvantaged by slow connectivity.
The service officially launched at this year’s IBC show in Amsterdam from 14th to 18th September. IBC is the premier annual event for professionals engaged in the creation, management and delivery of entertainment and news content worldwide.
Subrata Roy, Chief Technical Officer of Intersat Ltd commented: ‘ We are committed to connecting businesses across East Africa with high-speed broadband. Avanti’s flexible Ka-band satellite technology enables us to provide customers with high speed and quality broadband which other bands may not deliver, breaking our customers’ communication boundaries.
David Caleb, East Africa Sales Director for Avanti, said: ‘We are delighted to be working with Intersat on the delivery of affordable broadband that will help liberate the potential of businesses both small and large throughout East Africa
With respect, Romaron, the SP is hardly irrelevant. It’s what the market says the company is worth and it is slowly falling. It’s the price I pay to buy more shares or the price I get to sell my shares. I would like to think that discussions and negotiations would have taken place prior to Hylas4 actually being operational.
It’s all gone very quiet in here. I thought that now Hylas4 is in place, operational etc ,we would see a slow but steady rise in the SP. instead we are seeing a slow but steady fall in the SP. Anyone concerned ?
LEADING SATELLITE OPERATOR AVANTI ANNOUNCES OFFICIAL LAUNCH OF SOUTH AFRICAN BASED OPERATIONS
Avanti Communications Group, a leading satellite operator, providing Ka-band satellite data communications services across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, have announced the official launch of its South Africa-based operations as of 29 August 2018.
The announcement is underpinned by Avanti’s continued commitment to investing in Africa through a direct local presence backed by in-country solutions to enable and facilitate connectivity through key partnerships both in South Africa and throughout the region. To date, Avanti has invested over USD$897 million in Sub-Saharan Africa, with USD$143 million in South Africa alone.
Building on the success of its previous high throughput satellites (HTS), Avanti launched its third satellite, HYLAS 4 in April 2018. HYLAS 4 will operate with 64 fixed and 4 steerable beams from five Gateway Earth Stations to significantly extend Avanti’s coverage to West and Central Africa for the first time.
This development will provide affordable high-speed satellite broadband to connect homes, SMEs, schools, enterprises and mobile operators across Sub-Saharan Africa, especially in rural and remote locations where terrestrial networks are limited.
“Through our reliable high-speed connectivity, we bring the digital era to people, we believe everyone has the right to become a digital citizen, especially those in the remotest areas across Africa,” says Christian Georgeson, Chief Marketing Officer of Avanti Communications.
As leaders in Ka-band communications, Avanti has worked in some of Europe, Middle East and Africa’s most challenging locations, pushing boundaries to deliver innovative and flexible communications across various sectors.
“Through our technology, we empower our partners, ensuring they deliver always-on connectivity to their customers, wherever they may be. Not only have we invested in our satellites, but we’ve invested heavily in our ground network and our people. We have highly redundant Gateways Earth Stations, ensuring 99.8% availability and have built dedicated Gateways in South Africa, which enables data to land in-country. In addition to our satellites and ground infrastructure, Avanti is committed to local employment opportunities in space, ICT, engineering and communications sectors.” adds Georgeson.
The addition of HYLAS 4 will see Avanti complete its coverage across Africa, in addition to having the capability to cover markets across Latin America. These markets can be reached through the satellite’s four steerable beams which can be placed anywhere across the Earth’s disk visible from the orbital slot of the satellite.
Avanti’s South African in-country presence comes as the company also unveils its new corporate identity which encapsulates its vision to connect homes, grow businesses, extend networks, change lives, and go the extra mile to liberate untapped potential.

I don’t know if this was posted on here. It is from a few days ago :-

HITS, it was only a rough calculation. If I remember rightly , I think that the original bid of 1.40 per share plus debt roughly came to 1 billion. That was mainly the debt of course. The figures ( done on the back of a matchbox) all depend on that original bid having substance. If you are right and it never happened, then what Avanti would be valued at,if a bid ever came in,is anyones guess. Cass
HITS, we had a bid 1.40 and we turned it down when the debt was much higher than now. I believe an equivalent bid now would be around 30-35p. That is just based on market cap + debt. There was a far bigger debt before but a smaller market cap because of far less shares. Also when the 1.40 bid came, H4 was not in the sky and that has got to have added a lot more value. Romaron, thanks for the reply. I appreciate it. Cass Romaron, thanks for the reply.
