Well, I'm out. Thought long and hard today and I really hope that sepura gets a second bidder but obviously I'm doubtful. It' s been the most friendly board that I've ever been involved with. In fact to be honest I don't normally post much but I was posting all the time on here ! Just saw another opportunity that I think might pay off. Another one with risk attached. James, no problem mate. I think this last couple of weeks have been a bit stressful for all us pi's.

Jack, my point was that 3% over 3 months is the equivalent of 12% over 12 months. I would have thought that a decent return. Perhaps not ?? Alphagen were the ones constantly selling on the run up to the offer.

I don't think a conspiracy James , other than Hendos knowing more than we do. I just take that as normal market forces. I just think that they are buying for their 3% and voting rights. That's all.

I agree with your last post. I'm sticking around but I do think that Hendos would buy Sepu for the 3% if they knew it was a done deal.

Got to agree Shaun. The trouble on here is thati everyone looks for the conspiracy or other alternative view and not the obvious, logical one.They buy and make a certain 2.5/ 3%. What's wrong with that ?

And I too think that is a fair assessment of the situation. I think the odds of the bid failing are very remote.So I feel I only lose money if I miss a better opportunity elsewhere ( which I believe is the reason a lot sold on Friday). I think the second bid is also remote but a possibility. So am sitting tight for the time being.

Would they do that with a CFD ? Betting that 19.3855 goes to 20.00 Don't know. Suppose if it is a certain bet ??

I think that is just terminology. You either open a long position (buy ) or you open a short position (sell ).

Jolli, I think that odds of another bidder are slim but there is a chance. On the other hand, I don't think that there is much chance at all of the offer not being voted through. So feeling safe enough here but the chances of making money is a long shot. If I saw something that I really fancied I would probably sell but after the last couple of weeks here, I could do without any aggro on the nervous system and it's calm here for now !!
