That would be my assumption as well - but why was it not reviewed by newmont in the timescales that we have been given for some time now. My best guess is that prior to any statements made by GGP about the MRE timeline we would have consulted with Newmont about the timeline? Unless we gave it as a deadline of course
Very pleased with the update but will be interested to hear if any explanation offered by Mr Day as to why this MRE has not been reviewed by our JV Partner. I always understood timeline included their review before publication.
"This announcement and the updated Mineral Resource Estimate for the Havieron Project contained in it have been prepared solely by Greatland based on relevant available information and have not been reviewed or approved by Greatland's Havieron joint venture partner, Newmont Corporation (Newmont). "
Very pleased with these results. I appreciate that drill results across the whole region take some time (used to be explained re Covid) and not sure what exact date the Rudall 2022 exploration commenced - however does this appear to be a long time from drilling until results have been RNS'd. If so could there be a reason for this? For context i have been in GGP since Feb 2020 and have continued to add to my holding
Taken from an RNS (Operational Update) Chaarat Gold release this morning
"The Tulkubash project remains ready for final investment decision ("FID") once project financing is finalised. Financing discussions continue with various parties. Despite the robust project economics and the added mine life earlier this year, the current macro-economic environment and volatility in financial markets has cautioned potential financiers and is likely to postpone decisions further. An update will be provided on the revised project schedule once the FID is made"
Perhaps puts into contect the good work in securing our (GGP) finance especially before the FS and DTM

Thank you TimberTrader for the update re voting on the Interactive Investor Platform. I am invested in GGP on there and have this morning voted ' for' all the resolutions. Having watched the latest presentation from Shaun Day I am very confident that GGP will go from strength to strength.

In all the historic interviews & RNS's on this incredible journey GH has provided consistent factual messages that are subsequently corroborated with results. His comments from the latest RNS provide me personally with great confidence going forward;
Gervaise Heddle, Chief Executive Officer of Greatland Gold plc, commented: "The publication of the Initial Inferred Mineral Resource estimate for Havieron represents the first of several important milestones that we expect to deliver as we work with Newcrest towards defining the full potential of the Havieron Project. To have achieved this within two years of signing the Farm-in is a testament to the expertise of Newcrest and their commitment to fast track the potential development of Havieron.
"The Initial Resource of 4.2Moz gold equivalent provides us with a strong platform for future growth through exploration while providing a clear focus point for ongoing studies and potential mine development. Importantly, the Initial Resource estimate is centred on just the South East Crescent and adjacent Breccia, and a portion of the Northern Breccia, suggesting that there is significant potential to increase the Inferred Resource over time as we work to establish a full picture of Havieron's potential right across the four target areas, all of which still remain open. Additionally, the Initial Resource estimate indicates real potential for a bulk underground mining operation at Havieron.
"A growth drilling programme is planned for 2021 alongside infill drilling, which will give us an even better understanding of the true scale of Havieron. With early works set to commence in late 2020 or early 2021, subject to receipt of required approvals, and our US$50m loan facility secured, everything is in place to move the project forward at pace next year."
