This 1000, flight cuts is a bit of a red herring, as they were cancelled some time back and all the customers have been informed. Typical press reporting, of half the facts, to create headlines.
Yes things are dire, looking at the share price today but long term holders who are able to maximise this opportunity,
will be rewarded in the long term. My average is £1.49p so feel your pain.

Reply, your not wrong at the moment, but I would say that most if not all my friends use BA for their flights or package tour holidays. Probably the age group 50+. and at least five couples will be flying with them in the next few months. People are tolerant when things go wrong if treated right. Personally I find the staff on the front line, checkin to onboard very friendly and accommodating, and i don't have much hair !! Its always been good and of course they have lost my luggage, had to land at a different airports due to weather ect. and still I return for more. The worse thing iag has done to me is ---- up the share price. Reading any of the doom and gloom in the press is enough to depress anyone,. We would all be more cheerful if we could just have a great holiday! Now there's a thought. GL

I could show you a number of contract notes for purchases at £5 and £7 plus, back in the day (pre-covid) and excellent dividend and special dividend payments combined with the buy back program. What this showed was the superb money making machine IAG had become. The question now is, can the company with the resources available return to the force it was? I think it can. Its that believe that keeps me invested... When you look at most of the competitors web sites to book they are know were near as simple to operate, so they have somethings right.
