The second RNS states that discussions with the investor that might have resulted in little value has ended. So we are looking at no value. But does that mean the company is gone for sure? The second RNS does also say 'It is anticipated that further funding in to the Sierra Leone operation and potentially other development assets would be provided by a strategic investor if the discussions are successful.' So what is the deal then?? all money lost or do we need to wait till Monday?

That is a good question. Is there hope still? Looks like the company is done but what about this statement?

To santo and screech - the two of you seem to be the only ones sensible enough to do some research and have faith in the future as me. I got in at 1.55 because of the potential deal. What do you think the future holds here and can you please keep us updated if you hear any news? I am keeping an open eye too. I think there will be a deal and this goes way up. The company's fundamentals are good. Their only problem is finance. Cheers

I need to correct you on what you said They did not say that the deal has little or no value - they said that the shares had little or no value. a big difference as a deal would be significant news. The shares have no value as there is no finance. not operations but finance. If a deal is struck or an investment strategy can be pulled off, then the shares will obviously have value. Screech, what do you think a deal will do to the SP? should go up but by how much IYO? Before the increasing fear of the company going into admin, the SP was about 25p - see end of september. Will it jump to there?

Dude this is news from a couple of days. Can anyone please post if there are any new developments. However, considering that this is Friday, I expect there to be nothing. Most probably Monday or next week.

Got to agree with this - we just do not know how high this can go or more importantly, whether there may be a deal.

Thanks for the info millsm. There must be some kind of discussion going on here - the AMI sp is on the rise too. I cannot see any news release by today - but who knows. This has got to be next week. AMI, London or some other company making an announcement.

I remember all the negative comments yesterday from a number of people saying that this share will go bust today -drop to O - the rise is over - all comments provided without any info or research. Yes there is a risk - but the question is how low could this go and why - we are now looking at a different stock with the focus on the investment strategy. Takeover with who - for how much - at what cost etc?

going nowhere but UP - easily will hit 5p. we then need to wait and see what happens with the RNS and transfer. WHy are some people suggesting AIM? Any link? I cannot find any news about this. Any info anyone please?

It is not disgusting - it is called the markets - evocutis did it - worthington did it - a number of personal goods and biotecs have. There are many here who I am sure will say have lost money after careful research - that is disgusting because it does not make sense. This does in many ways because the SP dropped way too low and IMO there must be something of a strategy or takeover being discussed. as I have said since this morning, the company's finances are dire but not its strategy or operations. These things happen - look at iofina - dropped to 20 p - now back to 50p. Look at tiziana - look at REM, LGO -all good examples

I am really hoping that there will be some good news about a takeover soon or some kind of investment strategy proposed. The financials of the company are dire but the operations look very promising. So hopefully, in due course of time, this will work out.

Congrats to all those invested here who have made some serious money over the past two days. Does anyone know what the offer of 0.12 p share is about which has been announced in the RNS? The meeting will take place on 12th September. The company is proposing a new policy. Any experts out there know a bit more about this and what the offer is? Surely the current SP cannot drop right? It is only that new shares at 0.12p will be offered. Any clues/comments/suggestions would be appreciated.

Gone up - but I still find this risky - there is no credible reason why it has gone up - or at least yet. But that is the risk investors take I guess
