Hi Genghis. Definitely no hard copy article last week. Share Prices quite often 8 days old now when they land on doormat. An online article doesn’t guarantee a print article either. SLP did not go to print despite a strong buy recommendation online.

Apologies, I’m confusing myself here. It’s SLP that doesn’t appear to have made this weeks digital version. MTR was definitely NOT in last weeks print copy. It was however DEFINITELY in the digital version released at 5pm last night. So all being well it should be in the print version. If so then I think we’ll see 28p today and there’s a good chance of 29p on Monday as it lands on the doormat over the next 24 hours. Fingers crossed.

Has anybody seen today’s print copy of IC? Curious to know if MTR featured in the Small Company section as it doesn’t appear to be in the digital version.

Have they gone away for another long weekend? 6/1
Will they snaffle their 1st £130k of the day just before lunch? 5/4
Or will they pop out for a liquid lunch 1st before pocketing another quarter of a mill? 4/6

Wouldn’t D Bay be over 30% now? If so, do they have to offer at least 150p?

Would they have to pay a minimum of 150 Dannatt? If so who is likely to be selling such large quantities at 131?

Could tomorrow’s presentation be the catalyst needed? Anybody willing to ask BOD if they know when the mystery seller will have sufficient 150 bag bundles? :)

Output volume is still the unknown Art. The market wasn’t impressed with THS volume and its SP ticked 5% lower on results day. The coiled spring will be released at some stage. Whether it’s in the next 48 hours I’m not sure.

Just listened to the ST audio rerun. Pretty much as I said earlier: "I expect very positive news coming from that in the next month or so" were his exact words. Equally as striking for me was the fact that Metal Tiger was his headline Commodities Small Cap Play. Anybody that reads his advice knows that he loves Sylvania Platinum which he covers time and again. Very rarely does he issue "STRONG buy" advice but SLP has been described as such 2x in the last 4 months or so being given a target price of 140p when it was 90p and an increased target of 175p when it was 112p. Also by his own admission he sets achievable rather than ambitious targets and frequently revisits & rerates. I am aware that Metal comes before Sylvania in the alphabet. However 3rd in the list began with the letter A!!! He has also issued a 25 page document on another Commodities play this week with a target price 50% greater than current SP and that didn't even get a mention this morning. Metal Tiger is the only stock I have purchased since the presentation. Lets hope I was paying proper attention! GLA.

Simon Thompson did an online stock picking presentation this morning. At approximately 11:50am he was very bullish about the metals sector and in particular MTR. Even more so than SLP who he always waxes lyrical about! He clearly stated that there should be good news “in the next month.” GLA

Hi Bob. I think you are getting mixed up between quarterly trading update (29 January) & 6 monthly accounts (22 February). I don’t think there will be 9 monthly accounts but there will be a further quarterly trading report. Be amazed if they are not released this week.

You’ll be able to sell for 48.5p on Monday. This week is a 25% IC rise. Stick or twist?
