Just a thought but perhaps CF didn't just "dump" his shares purely to make a couple of quid but sold his shares directly to allow Octopus a sizeable "plug and play" foothold in the company.

How long do you think it would have taken them to build up their current holding otherwise by buying a few thousand here and there?

Whilst I would like 2025 to be as good as 2024 seems to have been (but we'll wait for official numbers) I would be more than happy for THIS year to be as good as 2023 was...which was the best year to date for them if I recall.

They bought in at 28p, a figure which they thought was reasonable and which would bring in a decent profit for their investors based on a target price in the mid-30s.

They have been able to add to their holding at price far lower than the 28p which they were happy with last year. They and other II's probably can't believe their luck.

As it stands they will make an extra 11p per share....did I say "laughing" sorry I meant "laughing out loud, holding their sides...all the way to the bank...eventually"

The accounts are still the same, the order book is still choc-a-bloc for 2025 and any new business will have to be shoe-horned in at a premium or put into 2026. Mo mentioned that there will be a focus on M&A and this is stuff which will be invisible until the ink is dried.

The new Government's doom and gloom on the economy, their Marxist Budget and investors knee-jerk reaction to the new CGT rules were the catalysts for putting the SP into a spiral not the performance or future of the company. The SP was 28.90p on November 12th and since then Octopus (and other II's) have been laughing all the way to the bank.

In the meantime I have been transfering my holdings over to the various ISA's we have to avoid CGT on the way back up...plus a few more shares here and there.

Yes, yes, yes and not an hour goes by where I don't calculate what I was worth in November compared to now but that's the way it is and as I didn't plan to sell any shares until 2026 anyway I've not lost owt

my intention wasn't to engage in a debate merely to highlight , amongst other things, that he/she had insinuated that you and Louis had deliberately fabricated information to affect the SP. Serious accusations and these days possibly enough to have a Non Race Hate Crime raised against him/her/they/them

At the very least we can now all ignore any further posts from Stt1with a clear conscious...Stt1 being one of those anonymous posters he/she/WTF/IDFK told me I was gullible to believe.

first of all may i ask you to review your post of 26-11 @ 21.41 where you confirm louis's position and employer. at the time you made no comment as to the provenance of the information but now suggest that hallsworthy may have fabricated it to influence the share price. was this your intention?

if you were happy at the time that the information would have come from hvivo's pr company are you comfortable that the information and sentiment would have been communicated directly or are you suggesting that ("it's pulling wool over pis eyes") .they have made it all up and are seeking to illegally influence the market?

whilst i appreciate you helpfully highlighting that a pr company is paid to promote a company i'd like to point out that i am well aware of what pr companies do and i am more than capable of weeding out spin/bull****/truth.

i am also aware that hallsworthy is an anonymous poster. i am amused that you suggest that...

If you're NOT does it really matter where the information as come from? We're all grown ups and are able to make up our own minds thank you and in this case my understanding is that a PR firm will ONLY broadcast the information and sentiment which has been given to them by the end client, in this case hVIVO.

I for one am happy that there has been some sort of official communique from hVIVO and I will continue to add to my current holding, looking forward to the New Year and positive results being presented by hVIVO.

Re: Moderna's fall in SP

The issues regarding their fall in SP relate in part to a costly lawsuit regarding a claim for Patent infringement for their COVID vaccine. Whilst they won their case any sniff of infringement is toxic to the brand/product

As you know Patents and Intellectual Property underpin all pharma developments and products. If a company loses them their product (and future profits) are dead in the water.

I think that Octopus have taken advantage of the situation and played a very good hand on behalf of their clients.

I would also like to add that whilst commentators look at the drop in SP and discuss how Directors off-loaded their shares in the past or how the appointment of RFK has affected the Pharma sector we should also look at the chaos caused by the Labour Budget and the great sell-off which followed as everyone tried to cash in before getting walloped by the new CGT tariffs. How many factored THAT into their analysis of hVIVO shares back in the summer when we were at 30pps??

I'm sure that one of the few parties glad to see the share price wobble it's way down over the last few weeks has been Octopus. It's telling to see that they have increased their holding significantly already and I firmly suspect to see another increase in the near future.

...and why not?

Their analysis clearly shows the value of hVIVO to be in the 28-30p range and they'd be fools not to take advantage of the current landscape.

Personally I'm pretty much up to my limit but I might just have a rattle of the kids piggy-banks (and check the wife's old hand-bags for any lucky tenners) to see if there's some more funds to invest.

Hello All, this is my first input to the forum but I have been a hVIVO investor and groupie for several years now.

Forgive me but what no-one else seems to have picked up on, so far at least, from the CMD webinar is...

1) hVIVO have just moved into a purpose built 2 floor facility paid for (£6.5m) by corporate clients

2) Mo's comments that Canary Wharf is looking to turn itself into a global Life Sciences hub

3) The presentation was from a previously empty floor which Canary Wharf had lent to hVIVO for the occasion

So what does this mean?

1) There is an awful lot of time, money and good will being invested in hVIVO's future by 3rd parties and

2) There is an awful lot of extra space at 40 Bank Street @ CW for hVIVO to expand into over the next few years.
