I just ring my broker and say, “get £X worth of shares. Do other pi’s request shares by cash amount or volume of shares?

Playing out as expected I suppose. Drop the bid to widen the spread, attract new money and scare old money. Ruffs had 101ml as per rns 28th Jan. Not sure they’ve offloaded too much since, although they could be dumping small amounts. Can’t really see why pi’s would offload other than fear factor. Plenty will have bought in at a lot lower recently, except me Pmsl. I could do with a bit more shaving off if the mm’s could oblige? Thanks in advance.

I have a few pence from behind the sofa for any signs of weakness. Friday was a big day, and with MTL pretty much on the radar now, the early birds are in I suspect. Should be a few more punters as Friday approaches, let’s hope there’s enough to swallow any offloading.

Big fish? Is that me lol? The only fly I can see here is the offloading from Kilkenny. I still haven’t found anything useful online, I’m assuming they buy/sell through an agent/broker. I’m in for now, hopefully interest will peek prior to quarterly figures, and the new money will take the Kilkenny surplus.

Links to information on Kilkenny Group Limited? Particularly statements to them exiting aim markets. I know theyve been selling down on other stocks (Gcm is one). Just trying to substantiate why they would be offloading stocks all over at a loss?

Cheers Adam. Is it possible they could have held around 103ml (5%) shares at the last RNS? Or have you been keeping tabs on the sells? Not a sinister or loaded question, just trying to get to grips with what they may have left. It may give us all an idea of price action going forward. Todays sells, if they are Ruffers, will help, but can't see 2p until they are out. Hopefully they'll be happy to take what they can get rather than selling into every rise. Also, just for clarification, do they have to rns any/all sells, or only now if they go under 3%. I'm under the impression it's any sales, but not certain. I think it held well despite the big sells and cop spread. Thanks in advance, I'll do a bit more digging at weekend, off for a meal with the boss (Mrs Carp!).

Informative post LB. I’ve probably caused the dip by having a siesta! Or it could just be the MM’s playing and filling orders. Not seen a spread like that since the 1980’s when passing the rear of Chorlton Street bus depot! :-)).
Buys and sells getting cross coloured now, but has no effect (affect?) on most holdfor news and progress.
