It is a very quiet board seeing we have had a large rise

When this one moves it certinally moves i nice piece of news so should not retrace hopefully!

Lets hope so i remember in November watching this shoot up about 400% in a couple of hours id love to see that happen again.

i am thinking of buying into nrrp does anyone have any views on it. looks an exellent long termer.Or would it be better to buy in here and own a stake in it

didnt intend to but sold mine at miday the spread was only 4% and it looked like it was on the way dowm again.made a profit of £17 after charges.might not sound much but you wouldnt get 17% in the bank.

I am quite sure they are not going to drop 50% i was just useing that as an example. What i am trying to say is the figure 51p is irrelevant you could get more you could get less. It is no use people buying at 38p expecting to get 51p for them if that was the case they would be 51p now not 38.50p. Hope all goes well for all that are in

Well you just never know what with happen with this share.The rise could be due to people seeing it go this low and having one last throw of the dice or it could be down to some good news on the way.This company allways seems to be on its last legs but manages to struggle on.The last time i was in this was about a year ago when it dropped to 8p within a week it rose to about 16p and then droped back down to where it is now.I bought in yesterday at 0.95 (only £100 worth) not a huge amount to lose but an exellent upside if they manage to strike a deal. If we hit 4 or 5p is that is an exellent return on £100 If we see another decent rise tomorrow it could be good news in the pipeline.Good luck all

I dont of hold many of these either just my free shares from last times spike.I would like to think the rise was due to some good news on the way, but we seem to be having a good run on quite a few of the mines at the moment.Is it just because of the high price of gold and a lot of excitment/and hype after solgs recent rise look at cnr even crnd has managed to hold up above 2p.I would be very warery about buying in at these prices you could be in for a long time.I carnt believe iv just deramped my own share

This is such high risk now that is well worth a £100 bet. If by some miracle any sort of positive news emerges i should see a good return on it.Untill then i will right it off

Am i right in thinking the 51p valuation is based on the closing price or lucara shares on oct 1st? the new company to be formed botswana exploration represents around 7p of the 51p which means if the lucara drop by say 50% between now and the proposed takeover we would recieve lucara shares worth around 22p each. if this is the case the 51p estimation could be lower or higher. am i also right in thinking that the lucara shares are not to be listed in this country if that is the case it will make it a lot more complicated to trade.this happened with pdf diamonds holders got nothing like the estimated 2p per share and had to trade them on the oslo market .Surley it would be easier to sell up and just buy botswana exploration shares when they are listed .Please correct me if i am wrong as i am no expert

been in and out of here a few times but i allways keep a few of these just in case.look what has just happened to solg some shares you allways seem to do well on srb and solg have allways been my favourite. bit gutted i sold solg to soon bought at 5p and sold at 7.5p should have kept half.CRND is my worst share ever

canot believe there is a post on this board there seems little interest in investment trusts on this board.btem is one of my largest holdings along with rit capital.i moved a lot of my scottish mortgage into btem last year when they were the same price i was beginning to wish i had not done that as scottish mortgage are now £6.10 but you are right btem does have exellent management and hopefully should have a good future.it is nice to see it has gathered momentum over the last couple of weeks.

sorry thought it was 8p just looked it up and i paid 8.75p to be exact bought on 6th october 2009.

maybe they are about to release some news to try and get the share price back up.there could be a good dead cat bounce on this one. it has happened before on this one i was in last year at 8p a week or so later it shot up to about 21p i sold at 20 and got back in at 8p.it is just a bit of fun for me i only have a small amount in here.sometimes just as you have written a share off you get a plesent suprise. it would not supprise me if every man and his dog is on this board in a week or two trying to buy in at silly prices telling everyone how great it is good luck all
