RE: Buys & sells24 Aug 2020 00:15
Good Evening CP52,
Re your excellent and informative post from Sat at 12.56.
I can't see any of the major shareholders selling all of their sizable holding in SGZ in the foreseeable future with one possible exception. That being, as the share price increases in the lead up to gold production, there could be some profit taking by some investors top slicing to bank some profits and de-risk their remaining investment.
I reckon that as we approach production from Cononish it's a no brainer that the share price will increase. Particularly, given that there will be a plethora of high profile news items that will reflect on the first Scottish commercial gold mine and the knock on publicity this will attract.
As the publicity surrounding Cononish production widens I'm sure this will attract new investors. Given the amount of shares not held by major investors and the relatively small number of shares held by investors with less that a 3% holding, we could see a scramble for shares which results in a steep climb in the share price.
The current market cap of SGZ is £49m. Given the profitability of SGZ with gold at c$2,000.00 an ounce and enthusiastic and patriotic investors we could easily have a market cap of c£100m which would result in a significant increase in the share price.
Looking forward with optimism to the next few weeks and months.
Carliol
