Good Evening Everyone,
We all know the value of gold to SGZ and what it is used for.
However, very little has been said about the value of silver to SGZ. It's used in a wide variety of industries.
We all own something electrical with a piece of silver in it.
Jewelry and Silverware.
Photography.
Antibacterial.
Coins, Rounds and Bullion.
Silver could be a valuable additional source of income to SGZ.

Hi All,
Price of gold just hit $1900.00 an oz. Let's see what tomorrow brings.
Also the price of silver is on the up. Current price is $24.21 an oz.
We shouldn't underestimate the value of silver to SGZ. It's going to be a nice, not so little, earner to SGZ.

Bellers,
As soon as I posted at 150p - 153p the share price went to 156p - 158p.
Keep going and mowing.
Carliol
Hello Bellers,
Keep mowing and keep going and going as long as you can.
I've tried a dummy sell and got 152.50 but I've tried to buy and can't get a price. This means only one thing - the price keeps rising as you keep mowing!!
Carliol
Hi All,
More smoke and mirrors with the buys and sells.
The late trade of 11,000 shares at 113.325 that was transacted at 10.41 and shown an hour later as a buy is definitely a sell.
A sell of 500 shares at 113.25 went through at 10.32. Which in my opinion confirms the 11,000 buy is actually a sell.
I've gone on and on and on and on for years about these types of tranactions but the same dodgy practices continue.
Why a sell can't be shown as a sell and a buy as a buy is copmletely beyond me.
Carliol
Hi All,
Strange goings on with the share price today. At 12 noon all was looking well then all of a sudden the buys continued but the share price fell.
Today there were 11,012 shares sold and 19,885 shares bought.
However, don't forget this is the casino called the AIM market.

Hi R M,
Will heavy snowfalls effect gold and silver production at Cononish? I wonder what contingency plans are in place in the event of severe snow disruption? At least it won't snow in the mine!!
Carliol
Good Morning R H,
We live an era when it doesn't take much to upset of offend people. It's the age of the snowflake!!
Carliol
Hi All,
The posts made over the weekend have disappeared. Can't understand why they have gone. There was nothing contentious or offensive. Some of the posts were informative and looking forward to the up and coming gold pore.So why have they gone.
Has there been a glitch in the system? Am I missing something?
Carliol
Hi All,
As soon as my last post went on the board the share price went up from 115p - 120p to reach 118p - 120p.
Perhaps I should make more posts such as my previous post.
it reminds me for someone mowing the lawn!!
Carliol
Hi All,
Another substantial buy of 8,000 SGZ shares at 120p has just gone through. Over the last few days some hefty buys have been transacted with buys far exceeding sells but the share price remains static.
This is typical of the casino that is the AIM market.
Carliol
Hi CP52,
Lots of good P R and positive news reporting can do wonders for a share. The recent publicity has done the share price lots of good and with more and more news flow, particularly the up and coming BBC documentary. Today's share price increase could be par for the course over the next few weeks / months.
Since pre history, gold has held an allure that most people find irresistible. It's what kings, queens and pharaohs adorned themselves in as a display of their wealth. It's also what the great unwashed craved for and what caused the great gold rushes of yesteryear. Let's hope some of the glitz rubs off on investors such as ourselves.
Carliol
Hi Bellers,
It's encouraging to see the share price close above 100p. Mostly buys today with a few small sells. i would suspect the small sells are investors banking some profits by top slicing.
What will tomorrow bring? it's anyone's guess on the AIM market but it looks as if SGZ is ticking all the right boxes and we could see some solid gains in the run up to 30th Nov 2020.
it's interesting to note the wording in Friday's RNS. It states that the first gold pore could be by 30th Nov 2020 which means that we could have the first gold pore earlier. I wonder how much earlier it could be?
Carliol
Hi All,
After all these years as an investor in SGZ it's wonderful news that the first gold pore will be on my saint's birthday.
Carliol
Hi G A,
Brilliant news re first gold.
However, perhaps the Covid pandemic will probable go down in history as "the greatest over reaction of all time."
Carliol
Hi CP52,
Thanks for your reply. The Inverchorachan gold values are 3x higher than Cononish. Incredible! The sooner SGZ can get a second mine up and running the better.
I'm looking forward to gold production getting up and running and Cononish and also if there will be a mine visit prior to production starting.
Carliol
Hi CP52,
"""We Know where the gold is ,we will have the money and we have a planning blue print and the next one wont be in the National Park ."""
Interesting comment from N le R. I wonder where the next mine will be? Leadhills or Helmsdale could be a possibility. Both are outside a national park which means much less bureaucracy and less hoops to jump through for SGZ when a planning application is made.
Carliol
Good Evening CP52,
Re your excellent and informative post from Sat at 12.56.
I can't see any of the major shareholders selling all of their sizable holding in SGZ in the foreseeable future with one possible exception. That being, as the share price increases in the lead up to gold production, there could be some profit taking by some investors top slicing to bank some profits and de-risk their remaining investment.
I reckon that as we approach production from Cononish it's a no brainer that the share price will increase. Particularly, given that there will be a plethora of high profile news items that will reflect on the first Scottish commercial gold mine and the knock on publicity this will attract.
As the publicity surrounding Cononish production widens I'm sure this will attract new investors. Given the amount of shares not held by major investors and the relatively small number of shares held by investors with less that a 3% holding, we could see a scramble for shares which results in a steep climb in the share price.
The current market cap of SGZ is £49m. Given the profitability of SGZ with gold at c$2,000.00 an ounce and enthusiastic and patriotic investors we could easily have a market cap of c£100m which would result in a significant increase in the share price.
Looking forward with optimism to the next few weeks and months.
Carliol
Hii All,
It's good to see the price of gold holding above $2000.00 an ounce. Perhaps we'll see the share price respond positively tomorrow to this increase in the price of gold.
