Hi CP 52,
I'm back again. In my previous post I forgot to mention about a get-together of us LTH in Tyndrum to celebrate the gold pour and the initial production from the first commercial gold mine in Scotland. I wonder what rules will apply re covid for meeting up?
Also, I wonder how much notice we will get of the gold pour from SGZ? I'm sure the company will want as much publicity as possible for this momentous event.
Carliol
Hello CP 52,
Since the placing there's been some strange goings on with the share price. Trying to differentiate between buys and sells is difficult. It looks to me as if the M M's are playing fast and loose by keeping the bid / offer spread wide with buys being invariably just below the mid price which means they show up as sells.
As you say, we are getting nearer and nearer to gold production. I'm sure this is when the true value of SGZ will be reflected in a much higher share price. I'm sticking by my prediction of 200p once the gold pour is made and the subsequent publicity on the BBC and the docu is televised.

Hi All,

Hi 10kj,
There's lots of enthusiasm and optimism around regarding the future prospects of SGZ. There's also lots of gloom and doom around which is playing havoc and making life extremely difficult for many people.
I see SGZ as a beacon of hope for many and something to look forward to in these depressing days.
Investors in SGZ are perfectly aware of the risks involved without you trying to ram them down our throats. However, on a positive note. There are several risks by not being invested in SGZ during the next few weeks and months. The gold pore and subsequent TV and BBC docu coverage will undoubtedly reach a wide audience that is currently unaware of the first commercial gold mine in Scotland.
Perhaps your recent posts are a subtle attempt to undermine confidence in our company and to drive to share price down.

D O F & CP 52,
Having read through the RNS again, a placing normally states that the shares must be held for C6 months before they can be sold. However, there is no such statement in Mom's RNS.
It looks as if the large trades that have gone through must be sells from the placing. But for every seller there is a buyer so perhaps we are seeing the beginning of a drive to get the s p up to 200p.
I'm surprised that given the potential of SGZ that there wasn't a timescale before placing shares could be sold.
To me SGZ is a no brainer. With the £3m raised being used to expedite and increase production and also to make further exploration I can't understand why the SP has dropped so far. Maybe the only answer is mates rates!!
Carliol
Good Morning CP 52,
Market makers playing their usual games of smoke and mirrors. All the deals at 116.65 are shown as sells but are actually buys. My buy at 8.27 of 2492 shares is shown as a sell.
I couldn't resist a buy at these prices. Let's hope Bellers gets mowing soon.
Carliol
Share price starting to recover slightly.. lots of investors will have panicked and sold and some will have had their stop losses hit. This drop will be very short lived. It seems like the reason for the placing has been ignored by some investors and blind panic has ensued. Although it's a wonderful opportunity to buy at these rates.
Carliol
This is typical AIM. A placing to take the company foreward and the market over reacts and down goes the SP. Although disappointed at the placing price of 110p. Definitely at mates rates!!
With the gold pore and BBC'S docu to come today's set back will soon be a distant memory.
Carliol
Good Morning G A,
If the rumour is true and some type of lockdown is implemented for two weeks it will only set SGZ back temporarily. The gold will still be there. It's been there for millions of years and it ain't going nowhere until we get the first gold pore. It's been a long wait for the gold production to start so a couple of weeks won't make a lot of difference.
However, it remains to be seen if a lockdown will effect commercial and business practices. Let's hope Cononish will carry on as normal.
Carliol
Hi All,
With the price of gold on the up and the gold pore at Cononish getting closer and closer, it looks as if we could have some interesting weeks ahead of us.
Following last weeks sharp increase in the share price to c160p, it's good to see the share price consolidating at c150p. I would expect a gradual increase in the share price as we approach the gold pore. The announcements from SGZ state that the gold pore will take place by the 30th Nov 2020. So it looks as if it could happen earlier than St Andrew's Day.
I'd be surprised if the share price re-traced much below 150p but this is the AIM market and it's definitely not for the faint hearted. i'll stick by my original forecast that the share price will hit 200p on the day of the gold pore.
Carliol
Good Afternoon Everyone,

Hello G A & R H,
i came to LSE about five years ago. Previuously, I got all the real time prices and a wide range info on Digital Look for free but they " improved" their web site and I found it hopeless so i switched to LSE and subscribed to the Premium Membership at 11.99 a month. At the moment my only investment in shares is with SGZ so i'm paying for something that doesn't really give me value for money. However, i will buy back into some other shares that I keep on my watchlist when i consider the time is right. When that might be is anyone's guess but I think there will be a sharp rebound on the stock market when the coronavirus pandemic has run it's course.
Best wishes from Cumbria where we currently have wall to wall blue skies and unlimited sunshine. Also gentle breezes blowing through the palm trees on the Solway Firth coast
Carliol
Hi Morar,
Yes, I have a Premium Membership of LSE. It gives valuable info over and above the normal range displayed to non members.
One of the benefits which I find useful is that it gives live prices as they go through on the LSE and I can also go back ad infinitum to view trades.
Hope you find this useful.
Carliol
Afternoon All,
The large trades referred to are still showing up on the main market on LSE.
Perhaps you are looking at the AQSE share trades.
Carliol
Hi All,
Two massive after hours trades just gone through as buys. The timing of the trades confirms as buys.
Looking good for tomorrow.

Hi All,
The share price is recovering nicely after this mornings drop and once again we are getting closer to the all time high achieved yesterday. This indicates the strength of the share and as I said yesterday. Because there are so few shares not held by major investors, there could be liquidity problems which could mean shares could be in short supply. It also means the M Ms could get up to some devious means to " persuade" long term investors to sell. But they ain't getting my shares.
Carliol
Hi All,
I've been looking at the goings-on on the Eris board and i must admit I'm a bit perplexed with the transactions that are pending. At first sight it appears Eris is making a part bid for the German lithium mine but on reflection it doesn't seem to be as clear as that. I'll have to wait for the mist to clear before I understand what is actually going on. Once again it's all smoke and mirrors in the murky world of finance.
This brings me to the future of SGZ. Surely some of the big players in the gold mining business will be aware of what's happening at Cononish and the surrounding area. I wonder what would happen if a bid came in for SGZ? Given the dominant position of the major investors in SGZ and the large position of N L R I reckon any bid would be immediately rejected. I me it looks as if the major investors are in it for the long haul, as are long term investors such as ourselves.
Interesting times ahead.
Carliol
Good Evening CP52,
I'm looking forward to the first gold pore and the celebrations at the Tyndrum Inn. I hope we get plenty of notice of this momentous event. It's been a long time in coming and I would hate to miss it. But it looks as if it's going to be worth the wait!
The list of major investors is interesting. Given the amount of shares not in public hands there could be a liquidity problem which would be beneficial to long term holders such as ourselves.
Carliol
HI N 1,
The share price has risen very fast following Monday's RNS. Given the current momentum and the fact that we appear to be reaching an ever widening range of investors, i can't see any reason why we shouldn't hit at least 200p on the gold pore.
There were 116 trades today and it's the most I can recall. What tomorrow brings is anyone's guess but given the potential of SGZ and the allure of gold we could see a continual ramp up in the share price towards 200p. But on the other hand, this is the AIM market and it's definitely not an investment vehicle for widows and orphans!!
As an aside, to celebrate yesterday and today's increase, I'm enjoying a very large glass of my favourite malt . it's a Lowland Malt from the Bladnoch Distillery. It's absolutely superb and I'm sure it will get better and better as the SGZ share price continues to rise.
