Good Morning C R,
To obtain a reasonably accurate figure of the number of Darktrace shares bought and sold, have a look on the" Dark share price" icon on the top left of this page.

I don't understand why stamp duty is payable on Darktrace buys - such are the vagaries of the stock market.
Although it was disappointing to see the sharp fall of yesterday and this morning it wasn't altogether unexpected but I think it has been over done. Profit taking most likely. Massive bear raid probably. Following the market this morning, maybe.
The fundamentals haven't changed but with the Russian cyber attack it could be said the fundamentals have improved!!
Let's hope for a sharp recovery.

Good Evening C R,
It's extremely encouraging to see the share price hold above 500p. Particularly when the market is having a poor day.
The factors you list make Darktrace a a share that could easily out perform even the most bullish investors. However, I did a top up last week and I must admit that I'm a bit too heavily invested in Darktrace but I'm willing to take the risk.
It's certainly not a share for widows and orphans but it's definitely high risk high reward.
Best wishes from a hot and sunny Cumbria.
Carliol
Charlesrixon,
It looks as if the share price should hold above 500p.
The 3 x £1 million transactions I mentioned earlier today must surely be institutional investors jumping on board.
There's an old investor adage which goes as follows -- " Follow the big money."
CR. Who knows - maybe one day the big money will be following us private investors!!
Carliol
Just noticed a further two buy trades for £1 million have also gone through at 09.14 and 09.15.
Some one's very confident.
Carliol
Buy trade just gone through.
09.22 Shares bought 284,018. Trade price 501.648. Consideration £1 million.
Not your average Private Investor. Must be institutional purchase. I only wish it was me making the buy!!!
Carliol
Charlesrixon - Lots of potential with Darktrace. It looks as if the US market is setting the trend. What happens over there is usually followed in the UK.
I've just done a small top up on Darktrace and when the IPO with Sentinal occurs I'll be tempted to take a position there.
Carliol
Looking good to close above 500p before the end of the week. Perhaps earlier.
Carliol
Hi All,
Perhaps the steady price increase over the last few days is due to Darktrace being admitted into the FTSE 250 on Mon 21st June 2021.
The investment strategy of some fund managers is to have FTSE 250 companies included in the funds they are responsible for.
Today, so far so good. Let's hope this weeks trend continues.

Hello S P,
We're all after a quick profit but there are times when patience is the key. Particularly, when investing in companies such as Darktrace where the potential could be enormous. The deal with Microsoft and the recent news items re the companies association with some of the Gulf States only reinforces my belief that we could be on a winner.
I wonder what today will bring?
Carliol
I invested in Dark shortly after the IPO and have topped up recently. My recent top ups and the profit from them is due more to luck than judgement. However, given the current proliferation of cyber crime from both criminal and state sources it appears that an investment in Darktrace could be extremely profitable.

Hi All,
We're only ten working days from St Andrew's Day on 30th Nov 2020. I would expect and early RNS announcing progress so far and how work is proceeding at Cononish. Also there is news pending of exploration analysis. A successful gold pore will be just the thing to boost the share price and lighten up our spirits.

Hi All,
The M Ms are up to their normal subterfuge with today's trades. All the trades have been going through as sells. However, I've done some dummy buys and sells and I reckon only two small trades have been sells and the rest are buys. I wonder what is going on behind the scenes with the shares that we aren't aware of?
On a more positive note, I'm looking forward to the news flow as we get nearer and nearer to the gold pore and the associated publicity. i still have a target of 200p once this news starts to break.

Hello G A,
I've never been to any meetings in Edinburgh but as soon as the opportunity arises I'll be there. My only SGZ related meeting was a mine visit in Oct 2011 which was followed by lunch at a hotel in The Bridge of Orchy. Edinburgh is my favourite UK city and my wife and I been there many times. The drive from Carlisle to Edinburgh via the A701 from Moffat is probably the best driving road in the UK.
Carliol
Hi All,
The webinar should be interesting. Perhaps there will be some " new " news that SGZ have been holding back on. Or will the webinar be simply a means to inform a wider audience that Cononish will shortly become the first commercial gold mine in Scotland. If there is to be news announced that we aren't aware of an RNS should be issued prior to the webinar.
However, it's good to see the SGZ publicity machine is kicking into action with the Daily Mail news item and the webinar on Thursday.

Hi CP 52,
I can see where you're coming from. As we get nearer and nearer to the gold pour the anticipation grows and with it impatience takes over in the expectation of some news from SGZ.
Like lots of AIM listed shares their share price is driven by news and SGZ is no exception.
So far so good. The Cononish project is coming together in excess of my expectation. So I reckon a few more weeks waiting won't make all that much difference to the big picture as the company starts to evolve and hopefully the share price.
Carliol
Hi CP 52,
As you say. the news on Twitter from SGZ has been conspicuous by it's absence. The build up to the gold pour should be starting to gain momentum.
We are now on count down for St Andrew's Day. Only five weeks to go at the latest before we see the first commercial gold mine in Scotland up and running.
The placing two weeks ago has played havoc with the share price and hopefully the share price should resume normal service shortly. I reckon we should see a steady build up in the share price as the news flow increases and expectations heighten.
Carliol
Hi All,
The price of gold is currently at $1,910.00 an oz.
