Still a sound, well diversified company with solid prospects and a very low PE. These results are middling and no more than a small bump in the road. I've been trading this stock back to when it was Northgate (NTG) for the past 10 years, I have no concerns. Agreed though Zigup is a daft name.

Half year update tomorrow morning, will they finally have laced up their boots and started marching onwards and upwards? Or knowing my recent luck, will we see yet another cobbled together financial mess so the markets can once more put the boot into the share price

Growing, well run, diversified business which is consistently profitable. Plus it pays a healthy dividend and with a PE of just 6.5. What are the markets missing on this?

Cutting through the smog surrounding the share price and the wild speculation on this board, I would ask myself these questions in order to decide if you want to invest in WG in the medium to long term.

1) Is Wood going bust?

2) Is the project review going to make or break the company?

3) Do you think Wood is really worth 55% less than 10 days ago?

4) Is Wood worth less than 25% of the price that Sidara and Apollo offered at 6 and 18 months ago?

5) Is Wood worth less than 10% of it's revenues?

6) Is Wood well placed to benefit from any further O&G growth, renewables projects, carbon capture, energy transition?

7) Is Wood fairly priced compared to peers such as Worley Parson and KBR?

LTH were punished with a 75p drop yesterday and now in return we get a feeble thruppence bounce. It's like somebody stealing your car but kindly leaving you the spare tyre. Thank you once again Mr Market.

The only thing falling faster than the share prices is the quality of commentary on this board. I’m a LTH and up until yesterday you would get a few sensible posts a week by people invested in this share. But now all the carpetbaggers who had barely heard of Wood Group yesterday see the big red 60% fall they are swarming all over the place. On the one hand we have the rampers who are endlessly drawling on about this elusive bounce that they need to make their £500 before they clear off to their next victim. They are balanced out by the equally “eloquent” derampers who either compare Wood to an unrelated company that went bust recently or pick a very low number and post “10p on the cards next”. Come on of you are seasoned investors, you can do better than this.

Wow WG. has concrete boots today. As a LTH never in my worst nightmares could I have predicted that RNS followed by a 50% plus drop, I was expecting a run of a mill update with the share price drifting a few pence up or down as a result. Somebody please pinch me so I can wake up from this nightmare and hopefully the Trump win was all part of the same bad dream.

Normally when you get a poor update like this (which in this

case has been preceded by a series of previous poor RNSs), the markets tend to

really drag out the punishment, especially if you get any broker downgrades.

Therefore I can’t see any prolonged bounce and I’m going wait and see.

Ouch, sub £1 that's even worse than I thought. The markets are really losing patience with our Aberdonian friends serving us another breakfast of watery porridge and rotting neeps, even William Wallace wouldn't have the courage to buy right now.

Yet another Scottish jam tomorrow update, sadly the only consistency with Wood is that they never fail to disappoint. Hold tight, I expect a long and painful market mauling to commence at 8am, it’s going to be a stormy ride.

Clearly somebody high up at Molten has loose lips, the inexplicable fall in the share price the day before a dismal trading update looks like yet another case of market abuse. It's so unfair to retail investors, I was buying hard on Monday and Tuesday to close out half of my shorts and missed out on about £5k extra profit as a result. The FCA of course won't be looking into this they're too busy worrying about salesmen earning a few hundred pounds commission on car finance.

Jim, I'm a value investor and believe that the current global startup/tech scene is a huge bubble especially anything AI or fintech related (plus I disike Tim Draper) so i thought I'd take a punt with a short. Molten has a portfolio that is the usual hyped up VC backed flotsam of highly speculative, badly run companies which will never turn a profit or successfully IPO, however as Molten have ably demonstrated of late that doesn't preclude them selling this rubbish on to another fund or to some clueless corporate. All of this however relies on the greater fool theory and if the supply of dumb money dries up or if sanity ever prevails in the world of startup valuations (which it probably won't) Molten would be a penny share.

I have been short on Molten since August (boo and hiss all you like). It's been a very trying short so this recent fall has been a great chance to exit some of my positions, unfortunately not always at a profit. I am sure I have been one of the big buyers the last two days and I have found it’s been easy to buy at below the offer price today so MMs must be keen to offload. I agree this has been very volatile of late but given the fall today was over 5% hopefully there may be more to this than day to day volatility. However more likely it's just an over amplified reaction from a volatile stock to the general market jitters around the budget, US election and the Middle East,. Nevertheless just like the rest of us I have no idea and knowing my recent luck it will probably bounce 20% tomorrow in which case you can enjoy your bacon and eggs breakfast listening to the sound of myself and other shorters getting sizzled. Anyway let's see what the morning brings.

As a LTH DOCS holder, that Retail Times article doesn't fill me with confidence, wasting money on a clueless London Marketing/PR agency. I'm also not hopeful about the incoming "visionary" CEO who is a wishy washy marketeer rather than a nuts and bolts leader who can fix the operational issues.

Having said that it remains a solid, profitable business trading at a large discount.

Crazy fall in the share price due to already well known difficulties in the US. That aside HTG is a solid, profitable company trading at a very low PE ratio. Compare and contrast this with the muted market reaction (less that 1% drop) to Starbucks very grim announcement yesterday as their business crumbles before their eyes.

I doubt we will see an RNS as it wasn't an action taken by the DOCS Board, they may release something though if the share price drops a lot more. I suspect it was a sale by IngreGrsy the SPV set up by Permira to hold their 38% stake in DOCS. If so, it’s not exactly a vote of confidence from Permira and perhaps they will sell more but they would be shooting themselves in the foot at these prices. I'd hold fire buying DOCS until there is more clarity as I think the MMs could punish the share price more. As always you could make a speculative short term gain if there is a bounce. If you are short you may make a few pence if it drops but you could really get badly, badly burnt if this recovers.

The 70m shares were placed privately by Goldman i.e. not sold on the open market. That transaction completed last week, as it was a private deal then you won't see them listed as trades on the exchange. Any more questions lad just ask.

No I didn't buy at those prices but will be keeping my powder dry until the bad news has blown over for DOCS. If you need some basic trading tips from me then please ask.

Always the same when a share sees a sudden sharp drop or rise then derampers and carpetbaggers with no knowledge of the company in question come swarming onto the chat board. Derampers, at least if you are going to talk a share down then try and come up with a plausible facts based arguments rather than laughable throwaway one liners. Having said that you do provide some comic relief on a rainy Monday morning.
