Conclusion
As reported in the previous quarterly update Superdielectrics Ltd is in the process of transitioning from an Intellectual Property business model towards a conventional revenue-based model. In essence, we are in the early preparation stages of monetising our Intellectual Property. The priorities of the company are equally split between ongoing research and development, fund raising and seeking a licensee partner. This requires the company to shift emphasis from being an inward facing company (Research) to an outward facing and more conventional (Commercial)
company.
Currently, we are completing the Licensee Information Package containing technical reports suitable for a licensing agreement, it is expected to be finalised by the end of May. The long lead times for commercial negotiations and technical verification require us to position the company so that once the memorandum is ready we can progress to substantive commercial discussions as quickly as possible.
The Company has consequently appointed Innovator Capital Limited (ICL) as advisors, who will assist in identifying and filtering potential commercial partners and investors. The objective is to gain access to visionary senior management and key decision makers at relevant corporations.
Innovator Capital, established in 2003, is a specialist investment bank advising emerging technology companies on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions. Its expertise includes intellectual property and multi national strategic partnering.
Innovator Capital also host the CleanEquity Monaco conference each March, founded by H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco and Mungo Park, Chairman of Innovator Capital. Each year 30 of the world's best in class next generation technologies present their vision and network with prominent financial, strategic, sovereign, corporate and family investors, established industry representatives, government officials, end users and international trade media.
As part of the shift in emphasis described above, Superdielectrics Ltd is migrating
the existing Supercapacitormaterials.com website into a new and updated website Superdielectrics.com. This will provide interested parties with a more visually attractive and accessible source of information. We will continue to use Supercapacitor Materials Ltd as a 100% owned subsidiary trading company and will link the old website to Superdielectrics.com.
