I'd say they're swing trading a share they know to be fundamentally solid, using a fraction of their holding. I do the same with this and Snr (which has been amazing this week incidentally). All imho of course lol
.... err ... via 146? What's going on this morning!?
2-3 years is fine. Happy to wait for that much dosh
Solid recurring revenues, drastic reduction in debt, plus a commitment from a proven, hungry new CEO to cut costs is all I need to stay long.
In other words, there is the possibility of a multibagger here. I invest in those possibilities. Simples
Topped up again!! Great dip. Completely oversold imo.
Likewise topped up. Nice dip
I already like what he's saying:
"The acceleration of automation and GenAI pose an opportunity which we will take advantage of to create a more digital Capita. Together, we'll take the company to its next stage of evolution – developing a strategy that puts our customers' needs front and center and improving our financial performance. We will also continue to create a working environment that our colleagues are proud to be part of, in which they can be fulfilled and grow their careers.
My ambition for Capita lies at the heart of our Purpose – to create "better." We will raise the bar in every aspect, creating a better Capita for all our stakeholders – our clients, our colleagues, shareholders, and society – and a sustainable business for the longer-term."
The amusing aspect is their evident belief that posting on here affects the SP .... lmfao
I've blocked the worst offender ...
A mischievous, speculative action by an ambulance chaser imho. Will get nowhere imho
Indeed .... you'd almost think there were at it ....
Nice dip for anyone wanting to buy in
So right, JG68, as always ;)
Capita has absorbed so many local government and quango people over the decades and these folk have brought their culture with them and diluted Capita’s commercial ethics. I’m not talking about Mr Billingham here btw. The problem is quango culture. The work expands to fill the time and hands available. Jobs for the boys and girls.
I’d like to see a back office clear out of middle and upper management to make our business more businesslike .
Poised is the word
Green day. Nice!
AH, bring us that horizon!
I want to see an ambitious manifesto profit and growth. The real turnaround strategy in other words
ONS UK labour productivity data is available here: https://www.ons.gov.uk/economy/economicoutputandproductivity/productivitymeasures/bulletins/trendsinukbusinessdynamismandproductivity/2023#:~:text=Over%20the%20period%201997%20to,%C2%A331%2C000%20aGVA%20per%20worker.
Capita's workforce productivity is well above average at £69k (£2.9bn turnover divided by 43,000 employees). If rationalisation and use of AI can improve this further, that would be very good. We need to catch up with benchmark competitors like Serco which generates around £96k of revenue per employee. That makes Serco around 40% more productive than Capita if my analysis is correct?
Message to the new CEO: focus on productivity! The potential is there to be as efficient as Serco, and if you achieve that you will also solve the profit problem.
Btw Clued, that’s great to hear that Capita is running a tight ship. Make sure she doesn’t slack off next week!! 😂
Maybe you can help out by cooking and cleaning and bring her mince pies etc
Merry Christmas, gang.
Buy as much as you can afford and hold it. The year ahead is our year!
