Hedging in this sector and in particular an upstream operation like Tullow is no different to any company taking out an overdraft facility to invest in equipment/technology ..... to increase production (where Rahul's focus is), maximise profit and reduce debt, the %75 hedged and %10 interest on notes will be an issue if production dropped but it will increase instead by 5k in short term and by much more in the next 12/18 months + added income stream from gas (on which we will hear sooner than you think).

Just look at the sp last Friday, same as today so yesterday's drop was a non-event, 2021 numbers were based on average poo of less than £70 for the whole year.
All the noise here is from bottom feeders wanting to buy low, just buy now while you can and sell low 60's by end of the month if you have to make a quick buck but have some class and stop spitting lies and non-sense about hedging or a business that you clearly know very little.
We were top loser on FTSE all share yesterday and suddenly we have all theses "new" experts on board, very predictable.

We are only back to the same price we were last Friday & if you are an investor weekly price gyrations should not matter to you, and if you are a gambler which I suspect most of you are, then you should grow bigger cojones and stop complaining.

There is a lot of upside here but sadly with all that is happening, investing in aviation/travel is playing Russian roulette (no pun intended), keep your money here and you will eventually get 90p by 3:00 pm, so they say.
This sector is at the moment less risky to invest.
