As I have not written my twopence worth for a while now, choosing to read the good posts instead, this feeling that I want to share my musings just came over me today 😉
It looks like we will be getting news of some sort in next 12 days, probably RNS pre-meeting on 4th if no prior leaks, so what is that news likely to be? No prizes for that guess!!
1) EWT results? Tied into NDA or not?
2) Niko 1 update on how far down the drill goes i.e Zone 15 or Zone 19? Has this deal been overtaken by interest of
majors or is it still going ahead as nothing further reported so far?
3) H1 results - sales should be reported when invoice raised rather than when funds received? - April, May and June
well test production included? Full year results will be more informative but that is a while away yet
4) YA debacle - thoughts are that this will take time to sort out if lawyers involved so unlikely to hear much more on
that front? For the avoidance of doubt, on hindsight it would have been better if YA info on payments cancelling
pref shares could have been tagged onto other RNSs so shareholders knew the position or that there was a
clause included for fixed monthly payment date or conversion if not paid in cash. Whatever the outcome YA have
done us no favours recently.
Hope Zaza takes this all the way and that the sp can return to real value..
5) Could we be close to a deal with majors? Appears likely as no news on Niko 1?
6) What are we doing with the wet gas?
7) Plans for 2019 but until we know what is happening with the 2 interested majors on parts of Block 12 this is up in the air. What parts of Block 12? However equipment and subcontractors need to be booked well in advance so as time marching on it is crucial that BoD knows if it is deal or no deal?
8) Arbitration - sorted? Ongoing?
9) Updated CPR?
As many have reflected on here there is loads they COULD tell us but that might be different from what they WILL tell us. Zaza and Co will have had an incredibly busy year in the office and on the ground so it is great that he is taking the time to have the update meeting and Q and A session. Look forward to hearing all the reports on 4th and 5th. Not long to wait. Hope you have all your questions ready and no hard hats required. Is pyro the nominated spokesman for those unable to attend?
