Seasons greetings all. Goodbye 2020. Will be glad when it's behind us. If we thought the Frontera story was bad this global pandemic has put everything into perspective. Not been following the board for a while as it was too depressing (sorry).
Has there been anything concrete uncovered by the super sleuths in recent months or those with open communication channels to the board?
I received the email from the shareholder group but took no action as it did not appear to be 100% certain that the email address to send holding details to was genuine?????
Zeps I do not know you but so so sorry for your tragic loss.
Thanks everyone for different takes on this. As per usual with FRR clear as mud. The only thing I can say is that the silence from the BOD in relation to shareholders is deafening.
For someone who at various times over the past 16 months has reportedly given press interviews, it is perhaps not a crime but unforgivable all the same if he has done so and not reached out in any way to the company's shareholders. We did not expect detailed info but deserved and still deserve contact of some sort.
How can a CEO think it is okay to allow shareholders to receive this latest blow from other sources? Not acceptable!!!!
To me it looks like they would not even keep the 1%. Am I missing something?????
"The Arbitration Tribunal ruled that “Frontera Resources Georgia Corporation” committed material breach of the contract by refusing to return the exploration area (99% of the entire licensed area) to the State, which gives the State right to terminate the contract."
left to say except stay in and stay safe, message getting through to all now!!!
Thanks to the super sleuths and those posting little nuggets about how much Georgia wants to align with the west. I am still of the opinion that Zaza could have reached out at some point over the last 14 months to the investors who had largely helped to keep FRR afloat along with his fairly recent input at the second last fund raise. Since delisting he appears to have given interviews to the press (albeit not a lot for us to hang our coat tails on). Why could he not just reach out to say " Guys we are fighting our case on a lot of fronts. I appreciate your patience (apart from the despicable shorters). I cannot tell you much right now but I still have your best interests firmly in my sights". But no. Nada, Zilch, Zero communication from him. Not a tiny morsel or even a short email to the group that many of us joined.
This is the reason I am thinking 30/70 on a good outcome here. Sincerely hope I am wrong.
ZAZA PLEASE JUST REACH OUT TO US IN SOME SMALL WAY. WE DESERVE NO LESS.
Thanks Free and WHamBoy
Did you perchance hear Radio Scotland News today re US elections? Missed part of it but it was to do with upcoming US election and prospective candidates, possibly from Iowa having meetings in Glasgow, Tbilisi and somewhere else in Europe. Thought it was interesting that Tbilisi was mentioned.
Echo every kind word said to you today. This personal loss puts everything into perspective.
The recs on your post show there are lots of us looking in who have nothing useful to add to our rather dire FRR situation right now.
Fingers crossed for all of us but especially for you and anyone else suffering in silence right now. ATB
Looking forward to the day there are 300 plus posts on this page then we will know that something (good or bad) is actually happening for real.
HNY to all genuine holders and thanks to the super sleuths for digging for info, sparse as it is.
Possibly a signal that the lights are still on and there is someone in!!
That would be great!!
Each piece of info that appears on all the shenanigans with Frontera just raises the anxiety levels when reading this board.
On good days its 50/50 but hoping it will all turn out well for us. Other days resigned to fate be it good or bad.
Well done to all the sleuths who dig out the limited info available.
Still look in now and again and waiting patiently for news, good or bad.
It has been a long, long wait though with nothing concrete to allay anxiety.
Until legal action and arbitration issues settled do not expect to hear much.
ATB as always
to those who post useful stuff they have found. Still checking in. Still hoping and still waiting. Some days positive, others less so but have not yet written it off.
Would be good to get update from Zaza or YJ but not expecting a single word until all this court stuff is finished one way or another. A lot of explanation required but we just cannot expect to be in the loop before it is settled.
P.S. Shares still showing in ISA as at end of June.
ATB to all genuine holders.

All we can do is watch and wait.
daniel1son makes a very good point.
Tsbs - you and everyone else here and beyond would like to know what finally happened in the Caymans but until it is all sorted out one way or another we will all just have to wait.
Zaza can tell us nothing (of value that we want to know) without prejudicing the case and further risking the funds we have all invested.
Frustrating it is but don't think it can be any other way for now. If we get to the point of another s/h meeting the difficult questions can be asked then.
Good point!!
Thanks from me too. The plot thickens!! As I said at 7.11 I hope they are producing oil and gas to pay all these lawyers. The fees will be seriously mounting up.
Hoping we are producing enough to pay all the legal fees. Grand Cayman, California AND Georgian arbitration. None of these for peanuts.
As BP has invested a lot in Georgia, can only hope they are still on good terms with FRR and able to help fight our corner just waiting on all of the above being sorted out to sign on the dotted line. Other scenarios re BP and licence do not bear thinking about.
Please let all of this soon be over so we can get some news of what is happening on site. There is a whole year of operations on the ground that we know little to nothing of.
