Itsagame - they didn't say that they were not going to have a half year report (they are obliged to provide a half yearly report to remain on the exchange) they have just said that they are no longer paying the auditor to do an SRE 2410 review on the half yearly report. This is not a requirement and, if you ask me, is a total waste of money anyway. What they are doing now and just producing the standard half yearly report is perfectly adequate - it is what 99% of other companies on the London Stock Exchange do anyway.

Rigs are ready and very importantly are out of Azerbaijan which means that they can be sent as soon as the Tilapia license is approved.

Kelsbells, as ever you are wrong. The payment of the $5.3 million has nothing whatsoever to do with the granting of the license and will have to be paid regardless. Actually it is in their interest to to grant the license because then $2 million of the money that is owed to Zen by Socar can be written off by the govt against the signature bonus.

You never hear from anybody else apart from the CEO in any interview or conference call. To pretend different is just to create another straw man to attack the company with.

Nothing has changed. We await the news on Tilapia. Hopefully tomorrow in the investor call we get further indications of how long it will be before they license is granted.

Block fell down from 17p to 1p and then hovered between 2-2.5p for 6 months waiting for news. When the first lot of that news arrived yesterday it became the top riser on LSE and is now at 4.4p with more news still to come.

It is very similar to Zenith tbh. We are waiting on the Tilapia news, the Tunisia news and the potential news of new licenses in the Congo and Nigeria. Tilapia is the key IMO - once this comes in then everything else will click into place and this will fly up just like Block did yesterday. We just need to be patient, but our time is coming.

Nothing has changed here. The positive people are still positive... The negative people are still negative... The news will still decide where the share price goes.

For me, I am still very confident that we will get good news om Tilapia soon and this is all the the beginning of a major bull-run for Zen .

Florida it is not just you this site does it to me too. yesterday I made a post that showed up when you went to thread view immediately but took about half an hour before it showed up in message view. It is nothing more sinister than rubbish IT which also explains why the chat has been down so much recently.

TO me it feels like the start of a new era at Zenith. The company is out of Azer and concentrating on Africa where they already have assets that are producing 250-300 bopd in Tunisia and they look like they are in pole position to pick up Tilapia with 5,000 bopd pretty straightforward to get and the prospects to tens of thousands more in the deeper layers. They also have their own rigs to do the drilling out there which should also put them in a great position to obtain additional licenses in the territory as they become seen as a company that can get things done there.

The share price at the moment makes everything seem as if it is not going well but this rocket it just about to launch.

And this is why the Tilapia opportunity is so exciting. The low-risk prospect of up to 5,000 bopd from a single drill and then the company-making potential of the deeper o layer containing the potential of tens of thousands of bops on top of this.

All the noises that have been coming out from the company (annual report detailing their high confidence of receiving the license , picture of AC with the president etc) and also from outside the company (Brokerman Dan's comments and twitter chatter) seem to indicate that Zenith will be granted a new 25 year license and when this happens the share price will shoot upwards.

In my opinion the share price now is the lowest it will ever be and so the opportunity to multibag maybe many many times has never been greater. I am expecting news before the 24th November when the Norwegian shareholders conference call is due to happen.

Speaking of the last Norwegian investors call there is another one one Nov 24th. It may be worth registering and putting in our questions.

Given that Azerbaijan has been at war and only just signed a (very shaky) looking peace deal today I think that we are well out of that area and I don't think that anyone else will be rushing to get in. They have clearly left on reasonably good terms though as SOCAR have just paid them $85k.

The exciting bit about this is than now Zenith is formally out of Azerbaijan then it also means that they have a rig to send to Congo as soon as they get approval on the Tilapia license.

We just need Tilapia news now for this to rocket.

It is just a waiting game at the moment. Brokerman Daniel is not wrong about where Zenith is at just now – it is a binary play. Although they still have the Tunisian assets at the moment all of the focus is clearly on Tilapia and the renewal of the license so if that comes in then the share price will soar and if it doesn’t then there will be a lot of disappointment. That said, with Tunisia generating 250+ bopd I am not sure that the share price will fall any further than it is now do it seems to me like it is a binary play that only has upside and not downside from where we are now.

What does the amount of times he has posted in the last 12 months got to do with the quality of the post in question Rocklawn? If you actually read what he has said it is well thought out and articulate, yet because you do not agree with the sentiment then you attack him on the amount of posts he has made. It's nonsense. Why not contribute to the discussion instead of just trying to drive away somebody who has a different opinion to you.

Regardless of individual opinions much of the success of Zenith rests on what happens with Tilapia and the receipt of the Socar money. If the 25 year license is received and the $5.3 million is paid then nobody can argue that buying the asset for £200,000 was one of the all time great small-cap oil deals and we have to take our hats off to AC for that. Everything rests on Tilapia and Tilapia is looking good in my opinion. All the noises from the annual report and from yesterdays tweet indicate that Zenith are very confident of getting hold of both the license and the money. Not long to wait now.

AC has been in another meeting with Denis Sassou Nguesso, President of the Congo - no wonder that they say in the annual report that the company is hopeful that they will receive a new 25 year license for the Tilapia oilfield !
