Lets hope...
Yeah, including the half year results, their book value is still around 80ish if not higher, and they made a profit, when others are struggling. So not too worries, just disappointing following the rise earlier this week.
Started the week around 59p, so levelish for the week, just very very volitile.
I mean, still not even sure how that would affect the - may be wrong
Ruin to a very good start of the week for them.
Could you expand on the HK law? about 20% of their fee income comes from there, so could justify something. What has changed??
wth
It will most likely drop a fair bit tomorrow (ex-div date i believe), but as they have said the NAV is still around 36p, therefore still seems to make sense.
If anyone wants the link: https://er.ethz.ch/financial-crisis-observatory.html, go to january 2021, and page 47 on the PDF. Grid 4, shows GSK. Some more info on page 59.
Thought i would start a new thread. So actually looking at the results, for 2020, they looked ok. Drop in debt, increase in equity, increase in revenue and profit? So the drop is mainly due to future forecasts for 2022 and discounting that? The zurich Financial Crisis Observatory actually included GSK in their last report (January), and even said this is over sold in negative bubble territory. So will be interesting to see what happens. I think it has been oversold, but please tell me otherwise.
lol
I think worse i'm afraid, i see 12.82.
And that's how bubbles happen, no shorts to provided liquidity on the way down.....
It's madness, i would be scared shorting any stock now with high short interest, as that's what they seem to target. I think CINE has about 10% short interest; so not as high as GME and other US one's, but still... going to be interesting.
Has WSB found CINE now??
Not going into the book cost/value etc.. my point is just the volatility. I have traded this (not in the last few months), and it has been on a up trend since the lows (today this could change), however just seems, hate to use this word, manipulated.
Not in this at the moment, but is on my watchlist. I do watch this a fair bit, and this must be one of the most volatile intra-day stocks out there on the LSE. -11% at open today, running back to -4%. It seems to do this a good few days in a trading month. Madness.... Couple of weeks ago it was -10% then went positive for the day. Fun to watch though....
I don't think this is very up to date, but does have some data https://shorttracker.co.uk/company/GB00B580MF54/
Yahoo also shows a short %
Yeah, ideally i would like to buy and hold this, but seems to be in a range of 180-200p, therefore may as well do a bit of trading. I think once some good news/report comes out, it should break 200p and hold. But yeah, this stock is an odd one. Seems a good/strong company, just struggling like many others at the moment on the SP side.
