why did randeep say he is supportive of the measures he must have known there was some kind of buyer & the price was in excess?

Roo - only if there is a buyer mate. That’s the bottom line.

The difference between Randeep selling the assets and the jols is the jols objective is to clear debts... randeeps was to get as much as possible.

Don’t get me wrong I think we have a decent chance but we can’t deny the situation it’s in is far from ideal.

Mark I’m sure I read somewhere that they were going to list in Hong Kong “if” a buyer didn’t arrive for the assets.

The PA doesn’t show any signs of a placing being likely.. had lots of ii’s buying recently... market & price action shows that something will land soon & I believe the company will hold out for an out of court settlement (provided they can)

If it was the same gov as before then I’d view it differently but as it isn’t and they will want to look good for int relations, they’ll sort it, imo.

They have enough cash for the near term mate...

In october they announced that they were in discussion directly with the slavac government... this is a new government and the old one was the one that ripped them off / screwed the company over.

They’ve spent £50m on the licence and have lost 5 years of profit due to their actions.

Imo new government will want to do the right thing (as can be seen through entering into dialog) if they extend the licence and pay out of court settlement... seems very likely imo.

I’ve been in 2 other litigation cases and they usually go on for years, but given they have been in direct dialog since October... mcap will be dwarfed & co W would be cashed up for Cuba.

basically we don’t know & if you rush a sale then you’re never going to get as much as if you don’t. G3e spent $1.3b in total tho so you would really hope there will at the very least be enough for us all to get our money back.

AST really think are going to deliver this negotiated litigation result soon guys... could be looking at 30/50p there on that news.

They have also secured what look like amazing assets in Cuba (all be it delayed because of Covid) but at £10m mcap...
