I'm surprised some people can't see the woods for the trees .
The whole markets shot today.
Guess it a time to buy for those with big CHONES ;)
I got small buys so don't know what that says about my virility ;)

Gordon
Fracking typically starts at the toe, or end of the horizontal leg, and works back to the vertical part of the well. The process is referred to as multi-stage hydraulic fracturing. Commonly it takes an average of 10 to 15 stages to ensure adequate coverage of the reservoir to maximize the recovery of the oil or gas it contains. The number of stages depends on the lateral length of the well.
10 to 15 depending on the length of the well!!
It takes more then two fracs
Syn have said
As previously announced, supported by the workover results of C-77H, Synergia plan to farm out up to 50% of the Cambay PSC and have selected their advisors for this process who have extensive knowledge of the Indian oil and gas industry as well as a global reach and excellent success-based track record
What the F**k is not to like !
yes vacation
The flow nos and current market rates seem to support a decent cash flow in the future.
The fact it will take several months to identify a JV partner seems to indicate they believe fracks will stay open this time.
All good news and good cash flow

Sure the value of Cambay would be effected by the increase in gas prices
On a brighter note, Oilex has negotiated a revised Gas Sales Agreement with Enertech Fuel Solutions for the sale of gas from the field based on the Indian government’s recently announced domestic gas price hike.
Oilex will now realise $7.32 per million British thermal units rather than the previous approximate $4.2 per million Btu
At £10.5 that values Cambay at.multiples of what we bought it for ?
If we can prove the Frac up which I suspect we will going on what Roland has said

Before anyone gets smart I know u have to be producing to qualify for a windfall tax ;)
If you look at the valued clients link for Aakash exploration who are supplying the work over rig ,you will see Schlumberger and Haliburton .
I wonder if they are still inputting there knowledge in to the well clean up for SYN

As for confidence I'm happy to buy in small parcels as I think this will come good .
From various sources on various boards I would say a farm in is extremely likely on the given initial data.
As things progress we will see how decline rates go.
Compared to the past this is a far more structured and considered approach from company .
I'm buying in small lots
USD 9mmbtu seems on the cards
Rates are due for a revision in October. It is anticipated that the price of gas from old fields of state-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) will be hiked to about USD 9 per mmBtu and the cap for difficult fields will rise to double digits.
Intresting if they scrap the 6.1 USD price cap though syn can cut its own prices I think anyway

There's huge pressure on the Indian govt ,let's see if we have any pressure in our well to help out !

I guess we are all in it for a few quid .
In context terms if it works it would be like my local team Tranmere being admitted in to the premier lg .
Doesn't mean they will win it but its game on !
Let's hope it all works out .

This is the last time I'll mention old history as we become SYN tomorrow
Under miller oex couldn't even do the Frac right "wrench down the hole" was the bitter joke.
Just getting the Frac done is a major achievement in my book .
Onwards and upwards hopefully SYN.
