your the one who has not got a clue, if your not invested in talk shares then why the hell are you on here deramping the company??? and if you are invested then why would you be telling everyone this is a strong sell??? get a life and stop spewing rubbish its people like you who cost private investors a lot of money by scare talking. yes it may go down monday but it may also go up, if you bothered reading company results talk actually made a profit unless you did not notice.

Just looking at the talk website and must admit they are offering some cracking deals at the moment. Talking to a lot of people i know who are with talktalk and they are all saying positive things to, so less of the negative views here would help.

I really can't understand the downward drift in the share price. When i visit the local towns where i live the card factory is the only shop that appears to be very busy with good footfall. This is a well run company that looks after its shareholders with a good divi plus a nice special divi. Hopefully share price does not rise between now and 25th as i will be reinvesting my special divi and the lower the share price the more shares i will be able to buy. This is a good company with good cash generation. As the previous poster said the share price is not a worry for the long term investor. I love the divi, wish money in the bank could return the same interest that i get invested here :-)

I don't expect a big rise tomorrow, this one is going to be a long term one me thinks. But hopefully we have turned a corner.

Am i reading it right where it states in the RNS that christopher mill's associated companies are interested in buying 13 million shares in QP. ? if it is right then that must be a good sign here

Positive news here i think at least chris rigg realised the problem here and has addressed it. Supported by the major shareholders too which must be a good sign, plus some other top guys in to. Hopefully the useless ones here have been cast away and off the payroll and onwards and upwards here.

yes hopefully the buy backs are on going, one positive here is at least the buy backs are happening with a low share price meaning more shares are being purchased. the company are getting 3 shares compared to 1 if they were doing the buy back a year ago when share price was just under 9 pound

Can someone explain how the spd share price can be a small fraction to that of jd sports? even allowing for jd sports having two thirds less shares then spd, i still can't see how jd is valued at nearly 16 pound a share and this at 2.96? add on top the more profit and turnover spd make then jd do then either i am bad at maths or this share price is way undervalued. It can only be the bad press keeping this share price down

not to bothered by the shrinking cash on balance sheet, tullow and premier oil have proved you have to spend big to bring quality assets on line, tullow was 4.7 billion in red and premier oil over 2 billion in red, compare that here to us being cash positive and a estimated cost of say 500 millionn to get e guinea project on line then as you can see if we can get a partner and get that asset producing we will have good revenue coming in. LNG looks like its the future and thats what attracts me here. i still think we should sell the last 20% of tanzania project off to get this e guinea asset on line and on time.

positive set of results in my opinion. ophir are not a wreckless spend all the money company like some, they are prudent and have good future plans that they will bring to market with the best value for their shareholders. if i was ophir i would sell their stake in tanzania and put that cash into the e guinea project which is ready for fid and will bring cash online by around 2019/2020

it said in the paper about a possible takeover / merger here. anyone got any thought if this could happen?

very interesting article regarding ophir. if you go to thesharehub.com and enter ophir energy and click on the article it tells you how undervalued this company is. it says that if we sold our last 20% stake in the tanzania project for 750 million dollars that would more then cover current market cap and thats not taking into account all the 100's of millions cash we have plus all our other assets. very interesting article well worth a read for any ophir shareholders

also forgot to mention that supermarket cards are well over priced. everytime i have been in town there is a massive line of customers buying at the card factory shops. i am not saying this will fly back to 4 pound a share but i thought 3pound i payed today was good value longterm

rhambo stop spewing bull. this is a company with a 1 billion market cap that is making that much money they will be handing more back to shareholders as per rns stated today. with a big dividend whats not to like here in my honest opinion

I am holding here to folks, just a case of sitting tight and waiting i think, compared tosome other oilers least this one will not have the bailifs knocking at the door anytime soon lol. I really can't understand as gas prices are well up from the start of the year, i think the market is waiting for postive info regarding equ guinea project. I must admit i can't beleave a bigger fish has not come sniffing here, not that it would help us shareholders at the mo, if someone did come in we would be lucky to get a £1 a share offer here i think. I am hoping for at least £3 longterm but i rekon i could be pushing up daisy's by then, still least it will pay for a nice headstone lol. I will carry on holding here and hope it comes good one day as its well positioned once the market finally turns whenever that might be. Good luck all

this company never seems to go up! just hope results are half good next week. i can't for the life of me understand how another company has not tried to take us over what with all our gas and cash on balance sheet. a complete mystery this share i have never been able to work it out

I can not understand how ophir share price keeps getting hammered, as i would have thought it was a blessing that our large assets are not producing yet. If we were producing the current break even is 40 dollars a barrel on eq so we would not be turning over large profits so its a good thing that our gas is still in the ground at current prices. Some of the other mid size oil producers will be in big trouble come 2017 when their current oil price hedging runs out. I would still rather be invested here with ophir's money in the bank rather then invested in some other debt laden oil producers. I think when oil price finally heads up to 80 dollars then this company could be a take over target but we need a lot of positive sentiment to return to oil before take overs start happening.

LNG prices are on the floor at the moment but it would be very short sited to think that will always be the case. One positive in our favour is our lack of debt which can be used to our advantage once oil and gas finally start rising to around 80 dollars. PMO and TULLOW have billions of debt on their balance sheets so in future OPHIR should be in a good position to leverage themselves. I can't beleave how share price is now lower then when oil was 28 dollars a barrell. Could be a lot of pain short term before we finally get some share price gain. Still think this is a good long term play, as we have funds in bank, very low debt, assets we can sell when gas starts rising. What OPHIR need now is some cheap ready made oil producing assets as we could do with out put around 50,000 barrels aday in a ideal world. Does anyone know what revenue we will be bringing in from kerenden asset when it comes online this year?

NEXT bought back another 96000 shares today, this will have some good effect in the future once this share finally starts rising again
