I think that's a fair observation. Prop desks often take positions on "in house" research. The herd at the moment is negative on anything bricks and mortar because they are getting sucked into the negative media hype. In reality owning a house is still one of the most aspirational things you can achieve in this country and people top what they can to get on the housing ladder and once on there it is the last thing they will give up.
